The Boost Kit does exactly what its name implies – converting your pedal bike into an excellent electric ride. Created by engineers at Boost, its minimal and clean design with battery storage on the down tube make this conversion kit look sleek and attractive when added to any ride.
Nick Bailey, the founder of Boost, sought to develop this system to address two problems. Not everyone has a spare bicycle in their garage or at home and not everyone has over PS1200 for an electric bike purchase. With this kit it becomes simple and cost-effective to upgrade any existing bike with a high-quality 250W rear hub motor and 6Ah 36V battery pack for affordable ebike riding.
What sets this conversion kit apart is its innovative connection of motor and battery via a bottle rack-style holder attached to your existing bike. This allows for a much more natural feeling power delivery as the motor responds directly to pedalling motion by providing power when required – plus there is both handlebar control and an app to let you adjust power settings easily!
