# Peter Gariaev and the Wave Genetic Code

A Russian scientist named [Peter Gariaev](https://alsuprun.com/) had developed a new theory that has the potential to revolutionize genomics. His theory, known as the Wave Genetic Code, uses electromagnetic generators that can translate human speech into signals perceived by plants and instruct them what to do. ## The Power of Biological Quantum Computers

A recent report by the National Academies threw cold water on the hype that has been fueling speculation about its imminent arrival. The reality is that QC will require significant investments and extensive engineering work to address the challenges of error correction, mitigating noise, and scaling. In addition, a quantum computer will need to be very large to provide the computational power required for biological applications. The good news is that there are several viable approaches for reducing the size and cost of quantum hardware, including incorporating superconductors.
