Installation
The D1256 Fire Command Center is a full-featured annunciator keypad designed for Radionics fire alarm systems. Providing essential user interface functions for system reset and silence as well as intuitive controls that ease navigation, it features four-wire serial communication to enhance overall system performance.
Unobtrusively found inside of a recently purchased home may be a Radionics alarm panel. To determine its suitability for use, look for arm/disarm codes that work and then visit Bosch Security US Dealer Locator to locate an authorized Radionics dealer.
Operation
New homeowners may find themselves inheriting an Alarm Components Radionics alarm system when they purchase their house, often still operational and fully functioning. You can download manuals for these alarms here but to change arm/disarm codes requires either special programming hardware or assistance from an Authorized Radionics dealer. To identify which model keypad you have, removing it from its location in the wall usually gives an idea. Alternatively, conduct a Google image search of your alarm panel model + “keypad,” to find images depicting its type.
