# Zapper Schematic

Proponents of zapper technology claim that all pathogens vibrate at specific frequencies and can be killed by exposure to those exact frequencies. The zapper is a device that emits alternating frequencies (typically 30 kHz) between two copper electrodes.

 There are two theories of zapping: fixed frequency and frequency-dependent. The first zappers use only one frequency to treat all pathogens, while the second zappers use multiple frequencies to target different conditions and pathogens.

## Circuit

 Hulda Clark claimed that her device (Zapper) could cure a variety of diseases. Her device used positive offset electrical signal at 30 kHz to disable pathogens in the body. This is similar to the devices described in U.S. Patent No. 8,781,573 by Patrick Murphy, U.S. Patent No. 5,690,692 by Janet Fleming and Craig Story, and Hulda Clark’s device.

The circuit generates low voltage (usually dual polarity 5V square wave with a DC component of 2.5V) at a fixed frequency (30 kHz). This signal is sent through two copper handles or electrodes which the user holds in their hands and place on different parts of the body.

 A family including a man and a woman at ages of 39 and 35, and two girls at ages of 2 and 5 years used the device with a fixed frequency 30 kHz for about a year. They noticed that flu symptoms such as high fever became mild.

 

## Wiring

 The original zapper offers a voltage output of less than 9V, which is sufficient to cause a tingling sensation when electrodes touch skin but insufficient to effectively destroy pathogens. This invention aims to increase the voltage of the zapper by using a microcontroller and voltage regulator. The microcontroller is programmed to vary the zapper’s output voltage based on weight input from a load cell sensor while an AD620 instrumentation amplifier acts as a voltage regulator.

 Alternative health practitioner Hulda Clark claimed that a device known as the “Zapper” could cure a variety of diseases by killing parasites and flushing out toxins from the body. The Zapper is a low-voltage pulse generator that produces a 30 kHz frequency of positive offset electrical current and operates on two copper handles which the user holds during treatment.

 The circuit of the zapper uses a 555 timer IC, NPN transistor, resistors and capacitors to generate the 30 kHz square wave. A 39k resistor at R5 is used to maintain positive output offset. A zener diode and standard diode attached to board standoffs protruding from the back of the case act as an output checker to ensure that the zapper is working properly. In addition, it’s important to use a battery connector with wires coming off of it (5 pack available at Radio Shack for around $1) instead of making connections directly to the battery to avoid shorting out the circuit.

 

## Testing

 The invention can be used to treat a variety of diseases and conditions. It uses a positive offset electrical signal at 30 kHz and less than 9 V. This frequency and voltage can be comfortably used to treat a child or adult without any tingling sensation at the electrode contact point.
