It promotes and nurtures health while preventing disease by helping the individual discover what path most aligns with their essential nature, such as strengthening essence, clearing away toxins or harmonizing imbalances.

Dowon Kuon studied various healing modalities before merging several techniques into what would eventually become Constitutional Acupuncture, today’s most advanced form. He holds degrees in Oriental Medicine, Naprapathy and Kinesiology – as well as being an exceptional learner with an insatiable thirst for knowledge he remains open-minded about trying out new healing approaches at every opportunity.

Acupuncture uses fine, sterile metal needles to rebalance Qi (vital energy) within the body, and restore balance and harmony without medications or surgery. Acupuncture also offers various non-needle therapies like cupping, moxibustion and Rapid Release Therapy which provide holistic, personalized care while helping clients realize their true potential and live a full and vitalized life.

Somato-Emotional Release Therapy

Somato-Emotional Release, as a healing process, utilizes our bodies’ own innate wisdom to facilitate physical and emotional release. Created by CranioSacral Therapist John Upledger, Somato-Emotional Release serves as an advanced aspect of his work which connects trauma in our tissues with its impact on emotional health.

Your therapist will listen to the natural rhythms of your body to ascertain if you’re ready for a traumatic energy release. If this is the case, nonverbal agreements such as tears or laughter signal its start – which may eventually manifest into sensations like lightness, warmth or tingling in the body.

SER operates under the assumption that negative energy from traumas becomes “trapped” within our tissue memory in the form of an Energy Cyst. A trained CST therapist can use SER sessions to connect with and release this tension, leading to healing at its source. Sessions are always client-led and carefully timed for your safety and comfort – offering additional depth of emotional release and trauma recovery beyond traditional talk therapy alone.

Constitutional Acupuncture Constitutional Acupuncture (also referred to as Stems & Branches Acupuncture) is an Oriental medicine technique which treats individuals according to their unique individual innate nature as revealed by their birth chart.
