These commands were consistent across all panels and keypads &#8211; for example, Command 7 and 9 could both be used to bypass or unbypass individual points on a system when they become faulted; such as when there&#8217;s a bad switch or misaligning magnet; additionally using this command would send fire alarm and\/or police response notifications (for systems with home alarm monitoring); other numbers could perform other diagnostic tasks &#8211; please refer to your user guides\/burgar alarm manuals\/keypad user guides for details.<\/p>\n<h2>Function 8<\/h2>\n<p>Bypass and unbypass functions on <a href=\"https:\/\/alsuprun.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Radionics<\/a> panels (D4112 and 6112) and keypads such as D420, D620, D1252, or D1255 can temporarily bypass or re-bypass faulted points until service can be scheduled &#8211; this serves as a quick solution for issues like misalignments, broken switches or misalignments with magnets. Command 8 of 6112 systems recognizes a trouble condition while simultaneously silencing an beeping keypad (for more details see How to Silence a Beeping <a href=\"https:\/\/alsuprun.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Radionics<\/a> Alarm Keypad). For further details regarding system commands please consult either your burglar alarm or fire alarm manuals regarding panels\/keypads used.<\/p>\n<h2>Function 9<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/alsuprun.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Radionics<\/a> alarm systems such as the 8112 and 6121 employed digits to perform various functions. Some functions were shared across models, while others were specific to specific panels or keypads &#8211; Command 4 for instance performed the &#8220;smoke detector reset&#8221; function on systems with fire monitoring, temporarily dropping power to 2-wire smoke loop to reset any tripped detectors.
