Biohacking events have quickly become an international movement, connecting wellbeing companies, medical professionals, technology experts and entrepreneurs with one another for conferences that provide attendees with an opportunity to take their health and performance to new levels.
Biohacking tools like cold plunges, intermittent fasting and wearable technology are being increasingly utilized to optimize health and build resilience; however, certain practices and techniques such as gene editing or neural implantation could potentially pose dangers.
Biohackers World
Biohacking is a global health and wellness trend that involves self-experimentation of both body and mind to achieve personal goals. It encompasses various techniques from using wearable gadgets to taking advantage of ancient healing practices in order to optimize wellbeing and enhance performance, promote a healthier lifestyle, and increase longevity.
Biohackers are self-taught innovators who employ science and technology to enhance their health and wellbeing. Some use DIY homegrown biology while others opt for advanced genetic engineering and implantable devices – the movement is motivated by a desire to live longer, more fulfilling lives compared to traditional medicine that typically treats symptoms rather than optimizing overall body performance.
Biohackers often employ diets high in proteins and weightlifting equipment to build muscle mass, an approach which has long been proven effective at lowering the risk of heart disease and maintaining fitness levels. Furthermore, many biohackers utilize supplements in order to increase energy levels and improve cognitive functions.
Biohackers have also become an innovative source of health and well-being improvement, exploring nontraditional approaches for personal development. These self-taught inventors explore human potential, often with ethical implications in mind. These innovators push scientific limits forward while creating resources so anyone can join.
Biohacking may be popular, but it should not be undertaken without due caution. Some practices have proven harmful – for instance Aaron Traywick died while trying to alter his own DNA through biohacking techniques. If considering biohacks of your own, please speak with your physician first before proceeding with them.
Biohackers World is an annual conference and exhibition that brings together top wellness, productivity, and technology experts to inspire you to become the best version of yourself. Packed full with workshops, seminars, networking events and learning from industry veterans alike – you may discover your true potential here!
Biohackers Conference & Expo
The Biohackers Conference & Expo is the go-to event for anyone seeking to optimize their health, mind and body. Every year this global event brings together health and wellness rockstars as well as thousands of attendees for cutting-edge technologies, breakout sessions with industry pioneers, and hands-on “hacks” designed to increase performance across every aspect of life. In 2018, this wonderful experience took place in Beverly Hills California with Pulse PEMF being there and representing.
This conference features world-class speakers and an abundance of exhibiting partners, providing attendees with a chance to test out a wide variety of innovative technologies in the “Biohacking Wonderland” exhibit area – such as cold immersion tubs from Michael Phelps’ Chilly GOAT, hyperbaric oxygen chambers from OxyHealth, brain mapping/neurofeback devices from 40 Years of Zen, among many others.
Speakers at this conference shared their personal strategies for improving health, performance and longevity. Topics ranged from increasing cell energy and immunity function to optimizing sleep patterns and increasing cognitive capacities; plus dietary and exercise techniques designed to prolong healthspan.
Attendees will discover the latest innovations in supplements and biohacking technology at this expo, as well as learn about electromagnetic fields’ effects on human bodies and holistic strategies for optimizing health. It’s also an ideal venue to network with fellow wellness enthusiasts and forge relationships within this niche market.
Clayton Thomas, CEO of The Root Brands, gives an inspiring keynote address outlining the fundamentals of human optimization. He discusses ways to overcome obstacles and realize your full potential, encouraging audiences to embrace a positive mental attitude for a healthier and happier lifestyle.
Pulse PEMF is proud to sponsor this event and hope that we see many of you there! The conference will showcase experts in various areas including fitness, nutrition, meditation, regenerative medicine and trends in health and wellness. There will also be presentations about current health and wellness trends. Pulse PEMF hopes you join them!
Biohacking Wonderland
Biohacking is an emerging concept that blends science, health, and self-improvement to increase overall wellbeing. This includes treatments, wellness goals, mindfulness techniques and practices with an aim of reaching peak physical and mental performance simultaneously. Yoga has quickly become a mainstream part of alternative medicine and lifestyle practices worldwide, from aerial to reiki yoga. Practitioners may look to boost energy through supplements and juice cleanses while others take things a step further by engaging in self-experimentation. Dave Asprey, known as the “Father of Biohacking,” has become an object of public fascination through his Bulletproof brand and methods for attaining superhuman status. However, Joe Rogan and other public figures have challenged Asprey’s claims concerning mycotoxins found in coffee and penis shockwave therapy, sparking debate about influencer ethics.
Wonderland is an immersive event that brings together thought leaders and pioneers from various fields to examine the future of psychedelic medicine, mental health, and longevity. Featuring world-class programming such as musical showcases and documentary screenings as well as unique transformative experiences such as meditation sessions and integration circles – attendees can attend keynotes, breakout sessions and workshops led by industry experts – not to mention gain valuable new skills while earning CE accreditation in certain workshops!
Apart from interactive installations and educational workshops, the conference features numerous expo booths and exhibits that promote health and wellness. Over 30 organizations have joined together to display cutting-edge health technology; guests can discover effective strategies for living longer as well as how dietary supplements and other tools can enhance quality of life.
Though the idea of hacking your biology may be thrilling, misuse can be deadly. Therefore it is imperative that biohackers possess the knowledge needed to use expensive equipment safely – many machines require expert maintenance – while they also expose themselves to risks like harmful radiation exposure or taking illegal substances such as methamphetamine.
Biohacking Village
Biohackers, or body hackers, are individuals who conduct experiments to enhance physical or cognitive performance in themselves through self-experimentation. This may involve anything from tracking one’s diet and sleeping patterns to pumping younger blood into veins in an effort to combat aging and disease. While many biohackers see biohacking as essential towards human augmentation, traditional scientists have strongly condemned such practices as unethical and potentially dangerous.
Biohacking Village is an informal community for individuals interested in the intersection of science and technology. Members share information and ideas in an informal setting – including researchers, designers, engineers and entrepreneurs interested in human enhancement or improving healthcare – plus have access to tools and resources needed for improvement.
BHV brings together people with shared interests in emerging technologies, regulations, medical and pharmaceutical manufacturing, cybersecurity, citizen science and cybersecurity. Furthermore, BHV works towards creating an environment of high trust that preserves patient safety while safeguarding biomedical technology ecosystem. In order to do so effectively, it keeps an eye on industry, healthcare ecosystem and key external groups.
BHV Device Lab’s mission is to protect patients’ safety and trustworthiness of medical devices and personal health/wellness devices against vulnerabilities in software, hardware, or infrastructure. They do this through developing an established practice of seeking, communicating and resolving vulnerabilities promptly; and helping customers manage risk by providing coordinated disclosure assistance during DEF CON.
He currently works as an information security consultant and penetration tester, is a member of Biohacking Village and regularly attends hacking events worldwide. His interests lie at the intersection of biohacking, information security, human enhancement and artificial intelligence (AI). His ultimate dream would be uploading our minds into immersive simulations such as those found in Star Wars. Until that day comes, he continues to tinker with biohacks of his own design in hopes that one day they may help control and manipulate his environment.
