Reiki Energy Medicine – Bringing Healing Touch Into Home, Hospital and Hospice by Libby Barnett

Reiki is an ancient touch therapy which recharges, realigns and rebalances energy to create optimal conditions for healing. Studies with oncology patients demonstrate its benefits: faster detoxification processes, enhanced immunity responses, decreased anxiety as a result of being diagnosed and reduced fear and stress following cancer diagnoses.

Libby Barnett MSW is one of the longest practicing Reiki Masters on the East Coast and co-author of Reiki Energy Medicine: Bringing Touch into Home, Hospital and Hospice.

How Reiki Works

As a Reiki Master Teacher, Libby Barnett assists her students to connect to the energy healing system at the core of Reiki. She offers classes and workshops for professionals as well as the public. Her book Reiki Energy Medicine: Bringing Healing Touch Into Home, Hospital and Hospice has received critical acclaim for its integration of Reiki into traditional medical care; she has taught classes at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health as well as Harvard Osher Integrative Grand Rounds presentations of Reiki presentations by John Harvey Gray one of Hawayo Takata’s original 22 Masters trained by Hawayo Takata himself.

Benefits

Reiki has long been used by individuals as an individual daily practice to revitalize and realign energy. Anecdotal evidence supports its benefits in many clinical settings such as neonatal units, cancer clinics, surgery centers, counseling offices and hospices – nurses and doctors say Reiki helps alleviate pain relief, boost immunity levels and decrease stress while improving sleep and appetite patterns while decreasing radiation/chemotherapy side effects such as nausea or fatigue.

Research also indicates Reiki’s potential to shorten hospital stays and promote recovery for surgery, trauma, chronic illnesses such as AIDS and cancer patients, including reduced anesthesia requirements and sooner discharge times compared with non-Reiki patients. Furthermore, patients receiving Reiki were able to reduce pain medication use post-surgery and reported greater satisfaction with their hospital experience than others who did not use Reiki.

Reiki is a noninvasive therapy that is easy for nurses and doctors to incorporate into their work with patients. Being touch therapy, Reiki practitioners simply touch patients to activate the energy. Furthermore, sessions don’t take long and can easily fit into daily schedules such as an RN’s.

Libby Barnett is a Reiki Master and runs her Reiki Healing Connection in Wilton, New Hampshire. Additionally, she offers classes to health care professionals at several hospitals, hospices, medical schools across the nation. In 2012 she co-authored Reiki Energy Medicine: Bringing Touch into Home, Hospital and Hospice as co-author.

This book, intended for medical professionals, takes a scientific approach to energy healing by explaining how Reiki works and its physiological effects. Written by a former NASA physicist, the author provides her personal experiences of Reiki while sharing a practical guide for its application in contemporary healthcare settings. An invaluable resource for any healthcare worker interested in understanding more about this ancient healing art; available both online and major bookstores (a review copy was provided for review purposes).

Techniques

Reiki practitioners use energy work known as Reiki Energy Medicine: Bringing Healing Touch Into Home, Hospital and Hospice to restore balance to the body’s energy by placing hands on what are known as chakras or “energy doors.” Nurses, physical therapists, anesthetists and counselors in hospitals and hospices also employ Reiki techniques to promote healing by relieving pain, managing stress levels and increasing patients’ ability to cope with illness. This book helps readers gain an understanding of this system within themselves as well as techniques used in Reiki and touch therapies such as other touch therapies. Radionics Ireland

What is radionics?

Radionics, developed in the early 1900s, is an unconventional healing modality based on the belief that all matter, including illness and health conditions, emits vibrations or radiations that are accessible by devices similar to those Abrams used. Practitioners of Radionics use similar devices to Abrams’ to “read” these subtle energies for any purpose imaginable, be it healing patients or helping scientists solve creative challenges.

Radionics is an alternative approach to healthcare that employs electromagnetic means to detect and tune subtle energy patterns using electromagnetic means, most often pendulum dowsing devices. Although scientifically unproven, radionics is widely accepted as an accepted form of alternative medicine – similar to Radesthesia it primarily diagnoses imbalances within one’s energy field that may contribute to physical conditions.

Radionics sessions involve scanning the energy field of patients and sending healing vibrations remotely, often through using charts or photographs of them to connect. Sometimes even without direct physical contact between patient and practitioner; rates, psychoactivated codes or symbols and various other techniques may also assist the process.

As with other forms of dowsing, there are many variations on radionics techniques, some more complex than others. Although its principles are straightforward, the resultant devices can become works of functional art crafted from wood, copper or brass and often shaped differently according to your requirements – often serving a range of tasks from healing humans and animals alike, remote viewing or time travel assistance and wish fulfillment among many others.

Radionics systems depend on having someone to interact with the energies being read and transmitted – usually known as a practitioner – who can read energy readings from devices or charts, then use these readings as guidance for their intentions during sessions. They might then use that energy to heal patients, solve scientific issues, or alter reality itself. Although many practitioners claim to know radionics techniques, few actual doctors or other healthcare professionals actually practice radionics regularly; though these same individuals often work with dowsing techniques or astrological charts during sessions.

What are the benefits of radionics?

Radionics as a form of healing aid aims to assist the body’s natural ability to restore harmony and equilibrium by identifying subtle imbalances that could be the source of illness, supporting self-healing processes of energetic systems, and providing outlets for dissipated energy.

Radionics works on the principle that all matter emits electromagnetic radiation; this vibrational signature can be detected using a device known as a “radionics instrument.” A practitioner using radionics will scan their body using this device before using this information to treat their client directly or remotely.

Abrams focused on electromagnetic radiation; modern radionics practitioners believe all matter emits vibrations of more subtle nature that can be detected using a device known as a radionics instrument, and then used to heal patients or solve engineering problems, among other goals. Radionics devices have historically been created for goals beyond medicine and wellness as well – some even featuring antique book shelves reminiscent of hipster bars or an obsessive map to the middle of nowhere!

Later radionics devices were much simpler than Abrams’ complex electronic machinery; often consisting of just drawings on paper or boxes. Some practitioners maintain that their devices work through a combination of consciousness, intention, and the use of “rates” — psychoactivated codes and symbols – for operation.

Radionics may not have scientific support, yet some studies suggest its efficacy. Research suggests it can relieve tension and stress, as well as promote energy flow – similar to acupuncture or other forms of alternative energy therapy which should never replace conventional means of diagnosis and treatment, but should instead serve as an ancillary therapy option.

How can radionics help me?

Radionics operates under the assumption that energy imbalance is at the source of physical symptoms, rather than being solely physical in origin. Radionics seeks to identify the various sources of imbalance and treat at this level; similar to kinesiology and radiesthesia techniques (like blood analysis or hair strand analysis ) radionics employs similar analyses on droplets of blood or hair to diagnose health status before broadcasting healing patterns into patients remotely via a radionics device.

Radionics can help treat various conditions, such as musculoskeletal, digestive, respiratory and behavioral ailments. It can be used on both humans and animals alike – even those located miles apart from each practitioner – with particular success at treating behavioral problems in horses and dogs by helping understand and treating root causes more directly. Furthermore, it supports natural self-healing processes of the body, improving vitality and wellbeing – see full credit report for this company here.

Gastric Torsion Medicine For Dogs

Symptoms

As symptoms of stomach torsion progress rapidly from uncomfortable to life-threatening within hours, acute gastric torsion — also known as GDV or “twisted stomach” — becomes life-threatening quickly. GDV occurs when an animal’s stomach becomes distended with air or food (dilatation, commonly referred to as “bloat”) before twisting in on itself – blocking both entry and exit points into their stomach with its contents trapped along with significant amounts of gas trapped therein. The severe twisting restricts blood flow to its walls which leads to cell damage as well as systemic complications like poor oxygen delivery to tissues (hypoxemia) as well as abnormal heart beats (cardiac arrhythmias). Additionally, compression of major abdominal vessels also reduces blood supply reducing supply reducing supply leading to shock.

Dogs suffering from twisted stomachs cannot breathe properly, have pale gums and appear extremely stressed. They make repeated attempts to vomit but cannot throw up anything; eventually becoming visibly irritable or restless before collapsing because their distended, tight stomach puts pressure on their diaphragm making breathing difficult – with early symptoms including unproductive retching or an abdominal distension which feels drum-like and hard. The most reliable early indicators include unproductive retching as well as visibly distended, tight stomach that feels drum-like or hardness in relation to breathing difficulty – with unproductive retching being reliable early indicators indicating something serious may have gone amiss.

Diagnosis

GDV (or “twisted stomach,” more commonly referred to by owners), also known as bloat or twist stomach in cats and dogs, is an emergency that can quickly progress from discomforting to life-threatening in a matter of hours. Recognizing its early warning signs and seeking medical help quickly may save the life of your beloved pet.

Your dog may exhibit symptoms of discomfort such as an abnormally distended and hard abdomen, attempts at vomiting but nothing coming up, pacing around with front legs down and rear up in prayer position, unproductive retching, rapid breathing, pale gums, and an increased heart rate as early indications.

Dilation occurs when gas accumulates in the stomach (Dilatation), leading it to dilate (Dilation), then twist on its axis (Volvulus), so its contents cannot escape and blood supply to organs such as the stomach is cut off resulting in shock and death quickly thereafter if treated promptly. This condition is more common among certain breeds such as deep-chested dogs; its rapid development results in death without prompt treatment.

Treatment

Gastric dilatation-volvulus, or “twisted stomach”, is a life-threatening emergency requiring immediate medical intervention. The abdomen swells rapidly until it looks like an enormous balloon; when this happens it becomes difficult for dogs to burp or vomit due to this swelling; some breeds, specifically deep chested ones, may be more prone than others to this condition and need fast treatment; surgery may be recommended to de-rotate the stomach completely and address other medical concerns as soon as possible. Recognizing early symptoms is key; early recognition and prompt veterinary consultation are both key in successfully treating GDV cases successfully – surgery usually includes extensive exploration of abdominal organs in addition to de-rotation of the stomach itself for successful outcomes.

How to Reverse Aging Eyesight

Eyes are one of the first places where visible signs of aging appear, including puffiness, dark circles, crow’s feet and fine lines that make you appear older than you feel.

As we age, our near vision may become impaired due to presbyopia. You can reduce this change by taking preventative steps.

1. Wear Sunscreen Year-Round

Sun damage is one of the primary contributors to premature eye aging. Applying sunscreen daily and during cold winter months will protect delicate eye tissue from sun’s harmful rays, even on cloudy days and when indoors. Eating an array of antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, hydration strategies and exercise programs may also support overall eye health from within out; additionally proper hydration, restful sleep and regular exercising may reduce dark circles and puffiness under eyes as well. For even more dramatic improvements, surgical and non-invasive options exist for treating age related eye issues if needed.

AestheticEye in Dayton, OH provides non-invasive cosmetic eye treatments to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and undereye puffiness. Reach out today and see how AestheticEye can help you look and feel your best!

2. Get Regular Eye Exams

An eye exam is more than just a way to obtain prescription lenses; it’s an invaluable way of tracking any changes to your vision that could signal macular degeneration or glaucoma. Your doctor will use a grid pattern of straight lines during an exam appointment to check for wavy, distorted or missing areas which could indicate vision-threating diseases like macular degeneration and glaucoma. Regular visits combined with eating nutritious food sources and limiting screen time are key to long-term health and healthy eyes!

No longer is eye aging inevitable thanks to non-surgical options like laser rejuvenation and dermal fillers which offer non-invasive ways of diminishing wrinkles, fine lines, dark circles, puffiness and puffiness for a fresher and younger looking appearance.

3. Get a Balanced Diet

Aging eyesight cannot be reversed, but it can be improved with regular eye exams and corrective methods such as glasses or contact lenses. A healthy diet and sufficient sleep are also vital in supporting eye health; both activities help relieve strain on the eyes that could otherwise lead to puffy, dark circles.

Studies have revealed that the ELOVL2 gene can have an influence on how quickly retina degrades. When its function weakens, levels of very-long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (VLC-PUFAs) decrease in retina, potentially leading to AMD or impaired eyesight in its wake.

Aging may be inevitable, but eye deterioration does not have to be. With non-surgical treatments offered at AestheticEye in Dayton, rejuvenating treatments may provide you with the ability to achieve brighter and younger looking eyes.

4. Get a Good Night’s Sleep

Everyday, your muscles and skin around your eyes are at work, be it relaying an expression, squinting to block out sunlight or blinking; their constant movement makes them one of the first areas to show signs of aging – fine lines and wrinkles often appearing first, which over time progress into heavy lids or extra skin that drapes over them – known as “hooding”. A good night’s rest can help soften these signs as well as improve overall eye health; ways include limiting screen use before sleeping; keeping bedroom temperature cool/dark; practicing relaxation techniques such as yoga/meditation to name but three methods that could improve eye health over time.

While it’s impossible to erase every fine line and wrinkle from our faces, consistent care and professional treatments can help slow visual decline and give our eyes a more youthful appearance.

5. Exercise

Although eye wrinkles cannot be reversed, exercise can help soften their appearance over time. Exercise increases blood flow, reduces inflammation and protects retinal cells – all factors which help protect retinal cells against damage caused by conditions like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration. Finding activities you enjoy that you can commit to long-term can make all the difference for long-term results.

Recent mice research suggests that exercise could slow or even reverse wet age-related macular degeneration, an eye condition caused when blood vessels form beneath the retina and leak fluid and blood into the eye. Researchers found that mice who regularly participated in aerobic exercises had nearly twice as many functional retinal neurons than their non-exercising counterparts, providing promising evidence. While these findings appear promising, further human research will need to confirm these results.

An active lifestyle can play an integral part in keeping eyes healthy and slowing signs of aging around them. By receiving regular eye exams, eating nutritiously, and practicing safe sun exposure, you can help support your vision well into old age. Non-surgical cosmetic treatments offer more natural-looking solutions for wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness for a rejuvenated, youthful appearance. Ready to reverse signs of aging? Reach out AestheticEye in Dayton today – our minimally invasive procedures may address all your needs! We offer various minimally invasive cosmetic procedures tailored specifically towards individual concerns!

What is Bio Resonance Therapy?

How Does Bio Frequency Therapy Work?

Bioresonance Therapy is a noninvasive noninvasive therapy using electromagnetic frequencies to detect and correct imbalances on a cellular level. The technology combines holistic and functional medicine in order to facilitate natural healing. Every cell emits electromagnetic signals which serve as the biological internet that allows organs to communicate directly; illness disrupts these signals making them less harmonious leading to symptoms such as fatigue or mental fogginess.

Your practitioner will use a device called the BICOM to scan for body imbalances using bioresonance therapy, including any toxins, pathogens or areas of stress which might be contributing to illness. Once identified, correct signals will be transmitted back through to restore cellular communication balance and ensure you experience positive outcomes from treatment.

Alternative medicine operates under the principle that your body will heal itself if returned to its natural state of resonance, unlike traditional medicine which merely masks symptoms rather than treating root causes. Furthermore, it doesn’t require blood samples or intravenous treatments – making it suitable for all ages and health conditions.

As with any new technique, biofrequency therapy requires practice to fully benefit. Your provider will assist in helping you learn how to control the bodily functions that sessions target by showing feedback devices and exercises to do it yourself – eventually training you so that these effects can occur without needing additional equipment.

At Libi & Daughters, we integrate conventional and alternative healthcare into one powerful treatment experience for you – such as acupuncture, bioresonance therapy and other cutting-edge techniques like microcurrent. Reach out now to schedule your consultation and see how this advanced therapy can transform your life!

Contrary to traditional medicine’s focus on managing symptoms, our holistic approach uses frequency detection and bioresonance therapy’s precision detection capabilities for an unparalleled level of personalized care. Our patients have reported feeling more energy during the day as well as reduced chronic pain and fatigue levels as a result. Together, functional medicine’s investigative depth, holistic medicine’s comprehensive view, and bioresonance therapy’s precise detection abilities creates unparalleled personalized care.

What Are the Side Effects of Bio Frequency Therapy?

Acupuncturists use bio resonance to help the body restore cellular communication systems and establish inner balance, making it a powerful component of holistic healing techniques. This technology acts like an immune system booster working under the surface quietly restoring health and harmony within our cells and minds.

Every substance and organ emits electromagnetic frequencies, creating a biological internet. Illness disrupts this communication and creates dissonance. The BICOM device can listen for these frequencies, filter out disruptive ones and amplified healing signals to return your body back into health resonance. This deep approach complements traditional medicine by uncovering imbalances at their energetic source.

Noninvasive energy evaluation detects subtle energy disturbances that often appear weeks or months before symptoms surface. By recognizing frequency patterns associated with organ function, pathogen presence, toxin accumulation and allergic sensitivities, practitioners can develop treatment protocols designed to restore equilibrium to your energy flow.

Bioresonance therapy relies on an unproven theory: as changes to cell metabolism and DNA damage cause diseased cells to generate electromagnetic waves different than healthy ones, an electrical device can read these differences, identify any distortions and then cancel them out using destructive wave interference – thus diagnosing and treating illnesses such as cancer, asthma and rheumatoid arthritis among others; chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia have also been reported as being treated this way.

Electrodermal testing, also known as bioresonance testing, is used to diagnose allergies and evaluate homeopathy treatments. This noninvasive monitoring device measures involuntary functions such as breathing, heart rate and muscle movement and tension – your healthcare provider then offers strategies to make voluntary (conscious) changes to these functions.

Studies of bioresonance therapy’s benefits in treating fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome have demonstrated its success at alleviating pain while increasing sleep quality and energy levels. According to reports, bioresonance treatment speeds recovery from moderate-severe depression more quickly compared with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor antidepressants.

Holistic functional medicine approaches such as acupuncture and bioresonance testing have become increasingly popular across New Hampshire. By harnessing the healing powers of frequencies, these treatments offer patients who wish to take control of their health and improve quality of life an effective solution.
