Intermittent fasting (IF) is an intermittent dieting technique which involves restricting how much food you eat each day by leaving an extended gap between your last meal and first meal of the following day, then eating all your daily caloric intake during an eight-hour window. It’s often recommended by weight loss programs because it allows people to consume the same number of calories with smaller meals throughout their daily regimen.

While intermittent fasting may be challenging to adhere to strictly, its benefits can be great for certain individuals. The aim is to improve overall health by decreasing diabetes risk, heart disease risk and cancer risks while fostering weight loss.

Aggie shared some personal tips for incorporating biohacking into daily life, such as eating foods rich in vitamins and minerals, cutting back on processed food intake and limiting caffeine and alcohol. She discussed her transition from vegetarianism to more balanced nutrition; noting how some vegan food may lack essential vitamins. Next she and Phil explored some common misconceptions about biohacking; perceived cost prohibitiveness or being only available to the wealthy were among these. To close, they speculated about future scenarios where personalized blood analysis using AI technology might be integrated into mobile apps so users could easily monitor and optimize wellbeing.
