Peter Garyaev earned a doctoral degree in physics from Moscow State University. His thesis topic was: “Genome as an operator of sign physical fields of the biosystem”. It was approved by the Higher International Attestation Commission.
He published papers in both national and foreign scientific journals, lectured at conferences and seminars, as well as penning several monographs.

Gariaev published his work entitled, “Volnovoi genom”, claiming that DNA does not encode but rather transmit information.
