The D9412G/D7412G Control Panel features eight on-board points and can support up to 238 additional off-board points (depending on model and expansion interfaces). Each point can be individually programmed for burglar alarm, fire alarm and supervision functions.
The panel uses a 16.5 VAC internally fused transformer with an internal 500mA current draw for internal operations and an output current draw of 1.4 amps for power output devices. Please refer to the Standby Battery and Current Rating Chart found within the D9412G/D7412G Approved Applications Compliance Guide for further power requirements.
Product Description
Radionics d9412 12 VDC Control/Communicator provides burglary, fire and access control functions for single structures or multiple buildings using hardwire, wireless technology or alternate communication options to meet various applications needs. It can even meet National Fire Protection Association standards for commercial sites.
This panel supports up to sixteen D8129 OctoRelay outputs that can be controlled individually or as groups of eight relays. Their connection to Zonex terminals may be restricted depending on how many D8128D OctoPOPITs and D8129 OctoRelays are attached to that particular zone bus.
Each D9412G/D7412G Control/Communicator comes equipped with two sets of POPIT Label Sheets (D8125). Be sure to save one set for later, since every POPIT on your panel connects to its own circuit and requires its own label.
Connecting the D9412G/D7412G to the outside world is made easy thanks to a telephone interface module (D9113A). This device connects directly to the panel, providing two-wire, digital communication via standard telephone lines between it and outside world – giving access to all programming features of both panels as well as remote monitoring services.
Programming of an alarm system may be accomplished using one or more of three methods: D5200 Alarm System Programmers, RAM IV Lite Account Manager Software or connecting directly through serial port to the panel. Please refer to the D9412G/D7412G Program Entry Guide for more details regarding these forms of programming.
If a power failure occurs, the D9412G/D7412G uses the D9125 battery backup to keep its internal clock accurate, guaranteeing timed reboot when resuming operation of their panel.
The D9412G/D7412G can be easily disarmed using both its RF key fob or keypad, and generate Open and Close reports at the press of a button. Furthermore, its built-in siren driver supports up to four programmable horn/strobe units.
The D9412G/D7412G can announce system status through an annunciation circuit. Additionally, it performs battery tests, transmits serial device trouble reports to and receives from devices, as well as initiate system tests.
Product Specifications
Radionics d9412 control panel is designed for burglary, fire and access control applications. It monitors alarm points while controlling user command centers and producing outputs. It also features a communication module, with events reported to certain PSTN and IP network destinations via four programmable route groups. Furthermore, it supports eight fully supervised on-board points which may be expanded up to 40 through expansion modules and wireless points. Features of its security include a request-to-exit input and an RF key fob that allow users to activate the system without entering a pass code. Furthermore, this system can be set to deny access during armed periods while permitting specific authorized users access depending on whether the system is master armed or perimeter armed.
The Radionics D5200 Programmer or RAM IV account manager software are both suitable for programming the d9412; their intuitive graphical user interface makes programming an effortless process. Compatible with a variety of wireless devices and home automation systems for remote operation, the device offers unrivalled convenience.
This system features an abrasion-resistant aluminum housing and stainless steel mounting hardware to help keep it protected from damage or intrusion, and also reduce electromagnetic interference and malfunction caused by lightning strikes. Furthermore, its internal battery backup protects against power outage; and its dual battery design decreases maintenance needs significantly.
Radionics d9412 control panels come complete with comprehensive documentation. This includes manuals, installation guides and user’s guides. In addition, RAM IV Lite account management software enables end users to manage multiple system functions remotely from PC.
This D9412G/D7412G Control/Communicator utilizes a Radionics D1640 16.5 VAC, 40 VA internally fused transformer as its primary AC source. 500 milliamperes will be reserved for internal operations while leaving 1.4 amps available to power devices. If AC power fails, secondary battery backup connected to D8132 battery terminals will take over; please refer to the Standby Battery and Current Rating Chart of the Approved Applications Compliance Guide for calculations related to battery standby time calculations.
Installation Procedures
The Radionics D9412 features an advanced alarm system that enables its user to monitor their security system from either their PC or workstation using included software. Users can set up and program functions like arming/disarming the system; contacting monitoring station; adding/deleting user numbers; checking battery levels; monitoring fire/smoke detectors for activation alerting system owner when activated as well as connecting it to home or business phone lines for emergency notifications – providing reliable alarm panel with multiple features! The Radionics D9412 features an easy setup and use alarm panel offering wide array of features which makes use easy while being reliable/easy install/use alarm panel with a variety of features!
The D9412G/D7412G control/communicators have been enhanced to feature a Ground Fault Detect feature, allowing them to report ground fault conditions when they are armed or alarm. In order for this function to work effectively, its Earth Ground terminal must be electrically isolated from all other ground terminals – an action accomplished either using the D928 Dual Phone Line Switcher between the panel and phone monitor or via keyfob programming that supports this feature (for more details please refer to Programming Guide). For more details please refer Programming Guide
