Healing With Vibrational Sound Therapy

Eileen Day McKusick has studied the effects of audible sound on human biofield since 1996 and developed her signature sound therapy method, Biofield Tuning. She holds a master’s degree in integrative education and founded the Biofield Tuning Institute.

Tuning the Human Biofield Healing with Vibrational Sound Therapy is an innovative energy healing book. This groundbreaking work reviews scientific research regarding sound and energy healing; discussing trauma’s effect on creating pathological oscillations within biofield that disrupt order, structure and function in its entirety.

Eileen Day McKusick is a leading researcher of therapeutic sound and the human biofield, having established Biofield Tuning as a sound therapy method and co-founding both Biofield Tuning Institute and Tuners Without Borders. Through her studies she has created an in-depth map of human energy fields which shows where specific emotions, ailments and traumas reside within them.

Tuning forks have been used as tools of discovery in her work to assist many in relieving long-term stress, emotional turmoil and physical illness. Through research into the physics of therapeutic sound and its relation to the human biofield, her approach has created an innovative form of healing which incorporates multiple disciplines. She has trained thousands of practitioners as well as being an active speaker at wellness and alternative medicine conferences and workshops.

McKusick describes in this book how sound balancing helps clear away pain and trauma stored in the human biofield, and also shows how traditional chakra principles correspond directly with her biofield anatomy maps. Her insights provide new ways for energy workers, massage therapists, and those seeking to overcome chronic illness or release traumas of the past to heal effectively.

Eileen is an author and recording artist, having released two albums with vocal sounds and tuning forks, such as her acclaimed debut Raise Your Voltage. Additionally, she co-founded Tuners Without Borders–an organization providing Biofield Tuning tools and training to underprivileged populations worldwide–living with her husband and daughter in Vermont with a Bachelor’s in Art Education as well as certifications in various energy healing modalities – inspiring an ongoing pursuit of wellness for her passions of curiosity and creativity!

Biofield Tuning (BT) is a patented sound therapy modality.

Biofield Tuning (BT) is a vibrational sound therapy method that utilizes tuning forks to detect and correct distortions and static in the human biofield. As an energy healing modality, BT has been shown to help alleviate and heal various physical, mental, and emotional ailments – including improving balance, decreasing anxiety levels, mental clarity enhancement and emotional well-being enhancement.

Research on biofield therapies has seen exponential growth over recent years. A recently completed feasibility study demonstrated that participants who underwent three weekly hour-long biofield therapy sessions experienced clinically significant reductions in anxiety. This comprehensive research project included surveys for anxiety levels, positive and negative affect, spiritual experiences and perceived stress as well as qualitative interviews to conduct this evaluation.

Tuning forks may use audible acoustic frequencies to lift distortion frequencies in one’s biofield (aura), commonly referred to as dissonance noise. This helps restore balance in one’s biofield with respect to body’s electric system; consequently restoring one’s ability to heal and regain energetic and physical equilibrium.

BT has been found effective for treating many conditions, from pain & stress relief, asthma, allergies, insomnia, migraines and fibromyalgia to trauma/PTSD relief and clearing past events’ energy that might be making people uneasy or anxious in daily life. However, pregnant women should avoid it, along with those with terminal illnesses, cancer, pacemakers or implanted electrical devices as it may induce healing responses that cause flu-like symptoms, fatigue, cold shivers loose stools vomiting and even rashes in some instances.

BT uses tuning forks to detect and correct distortions and static in the biofield.

The human biofield is an electromagnetic field that surrounds and permeates all areas of physical body, providing information about health, functions and experiences accumulated over time. Consisting of various frequencies and subtle energies, its balance can be easily adjusted with sound or vibration.

Vibrational Sound Therapy (VST) uses therapeutic Himalayan singing bowls to balance body, mind and spirit. A VST therapist gently places these singing bowls on or around their clients in order to produce tones and vibrations that help bring about a state of calm, acting as inner vibratory massage for their nervous systems. VST is less physically intrusive than traditional hand massage methods without leaving clients sore afterwards.

At a biofield tuning session, the practitioner helps activate and balance the biofield by tuning each chakra’s frequency in order to restore natural flow of energy and allow the body to heal itself. After sessions, clients report feeling clearer, calmer and more relaxed – as well as increased self-awareness and an overall deep sense of wellbeing. Every experience is different though, some may become exhausted afterward so rest is encouraged – all symptoms associated with healing processes!

Tuning forks alone won’t do the trick: A trained Biofield Tuning therapist uses Himalayan singing bowls and tingsha bells as well to balance the biofield. These instruments create audible acoustic frequencies which balance your electric system, lift distortion frequencies, clear away energy that has built up from life challenges, restore equilibrium and entrainment and balance your biofield – creating audible audible frequencies which integrate back into it for total biofield balance and restoration.

BT is a form of energy healing.

At each session, a practitioner utilizes therapeutic singing bowls that vibrate physically throughout your body. Their frequencies help calm your mind and induce a meditative state; their vibrations stimulate chakras to help heal the body; during which time hands may also be laid upon to help establish energetic connections.

Biofield healing works on the principle that when your energy field becomes disorganized, it can lead to health issues like pain, discomfort and illness. Negative thoughts, emotions or beliefs can block it as well – vibrational sound therapy uses frequencies of sound waves to detect these blockages and disperse them quickly and safely.

Studies have demonstrated the efficacy of energy healing to alleviate symptoms associated with illness, but high-quality clinical trials remain scarce. Building upon existing evidence is paramount to expanding this new paradigm of healthcare and improving patient outcomes; hence, this systematic review seeks to assess all available randomised controlled trial (RCT) data on energy healing’s impact on disease-related symptoms.

Energy healing is an emerging field of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). It employs various techniques to restore the flow of energy throughout the human body, using noninvasive, holistic approaches that can reduce tension and anxiety, improve sleep quality and foster overall well-being. Energy healing may be delivered either through touch or distance delivery methods and has proven successful against numerous chronic diseases; energy healing therapy may be combined with other forms of complementary and alternative therapy treatments for optimal results.

BT is a meditative practice.

Every organ, bone and cell in your body resonates at its own unique frequency. Sound therapy uses vibrational sound waves to shift these resonant frequencies through vibration to restore biofield balance and balance natural rhythms of the body’s systems. Sound therapy also serves to relieve stress by using repetitive and soothing frequencies which retrain brainwaves through meditation practices such as Tibetan singing bowls or binaural beats and isochronic tones for brainwave retraining and stress reduction. You can find such sounds among various meditative practices such as Tibetan singing bowls as well as binaural beats and isochronic tones for brainwave retraining.

At your session, you will lie fully clothed on a treatment table while the practitioner plays Himalayan singing bowls or Quartz crystal bowls that have been tuned to specific notes and tones – their vibrations penetrate deeply into your muscles and cells, relieving tension and stress while offering energy work and chakra balancing for added depth of relaxation and well-being.

Brainwave entrainment, using binaural beats and isochronic frequencies to synchronize brainwaves to desired states of consciousness, is another powerful form of sound healing therapy used for improving mental health conditions such as anxiety, insomnia, depression and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

When selecting a sound practitioner, it is essential to look closely at their credentials, training and experience. Look for someone specializing in vibrational sound therapy who has attended formal courses from recognized institutions; asking previous clients for recommendations may also give insight into their effectiveness and experience.
