Vibration Therapy For Parkinson’s Disease

parkinsons vibration therapy stanford university

Have you seen on TODAY Show a demonstration of a glove which transmits vibration to fingers to reduce tremor, stiffness and other symptoms of Parkinson’s? This device is based on Peter Tass’ research in this area.

Experiments by Dr. Kandel revealed that vibratory stimuli could desynchronize neurons which were firing abnormally and lead to coordinated reset stimulation – known by this name.

Developed by Dr. Peter Tass

Stanford Medicine magazine writer Holly Alyss recently hosted a Sunday Mornings with Twitchy Woman livestream, interviewing Peter Tass about his research with a vibrating glove that relieves Parkinson’s Disease symptoms using “vibrotactile coordinated reset stimulation.” Researchers have conducted tests both with animals and humans with promising results – it can easily be worn during daily tasks without surgery or implanting electrodes into the brain!

Vibration therapy as a strategy to mitigate Parkinson’s symptoms dates back to neurologist Jean-Martin Charcot’s use of a vibrating chair in the 19th century. Other researchers have created vibrating platforms and therapies, but results have been mixed. Tass’ approach, using fingertips to target large numbers of neurons in the brain directly may prove more successful.

Recent research demonstrated that Parkinson’s patients who used the glove twice daily for two hours each time experienced substantial improvement in tremors, stiffness and freezing of gait. Furthermore, patients reported positive feedback regarding its usage; however, its exact mechanism remains unknown and further studies will need to be completed in order to ascertain if this device can indeed provide safe and effective relief from Parkinson’s. While these early results show promise, more studies must be completed before concluding whether this device truly offers relief.

Tass believes the glove works by decreasing neural synchrony in the basal ganglia, the brain areas responsible for movement disorders in Parkinson’s. Vibrations stimulate fingertips that send signals back to these brain areas in order to decrease tremors and stiffness; potentially eliminating medication altogether with its side effects and costs.

Though further study will be required, MJFF is excited about the promise of noninvasive technologies like these to ease symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease. Our grantees are exploring other technologies that might alleviate or measure PD symptoms – for instance a wall-mounted device which bounces radio waves off movements to detect changes in gait.

Patients enrolled in this study will receive the vCR glove for one year and will attend six clinical study visits over time. At each visit, there will be a physical/neurological examination, review of medication usage by treating movement disorder neurologist as well as completion of MDS-UPDRS, UPSIT, PDQ and FOG questionnaires and an EEG, VTDT or APDM procedure.

Developed by students

The device, currently being evaluated in a clinical trial, emits a low vibration that stimulates finger pads – less intense than that produced by cellphones – to alleviate Parkinson’s symptoms such as shaking, stiffness and difficulty walking and talking as well as improve swallowing issues that often plague those living with Parkinson’s. Researchers hope that one day this technology might replace traditional drug therapies as treatments against this progressive illness.

Stanford Medicine magazine reported on an innovative therapy using vibrating gloves to “reset” nerves that misfire in Parkinson’s patients and help them relearn normal movements, according to Stanford Medicine magazine. Participants wore these gloves daily for several hours each, relieving tremors while improving balance and coordination – while also relieving tremors! While this early version exists now, the team plans on scaling it up and making it more affordable as time progresses.

Develop the device required much work and overcoming multiple hurdles. First, the students had to figure out a way to miniaturize its electronic components – something they accomplished using vibration motors found in wearables and smartphones as well as incorporating these motors into a soft glove.

To test their prototype, they recruited a friend with Parkinson’s to wear it and observe its effectiveness. Their results were positive: she could walk unaided for short distances. Since then, the team has developed a lower-cost version of the glove; in addition to sharing their design process and offering tips for people living with PD on how to create their own designs.

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition affecting over half a million Americans, characterized by shaking, stiffness and difficulty with balance and movement. While there is no cure, medications and physical or occupational therapy may reduce symptoms; researchers hoping to create an inexpensive but effective treatment that reduces surgical interventions are working on developing one such solution.

MJFF has previously supported other projects using vibration to ease Parkinson’s symptoms, including socks and shoe inserts that deliver small regular pulses of vibration to feet. This type of treatment can relieve frozen gait while strengthening swallowing muscles thereby decreasing risk for choking risk in PD patients.

Developed by NNMC

Wearing the vibrating glove helps alleviate tremors and stiffness associated with Parkinson’s disease by emitting vibration that retrains misfiring neurons in the brain, with minimal side effects and noninvasiveness. Small clinical trials have demonstrated its efficacy; Stanford researchers are currently testing this treatment option to see if it alleviates symptoms and slows disease progression.

Scientists behind a device known as the Stanford Glove have developed an innovative way of using vibration to treat people living with Parkinson’s disease. Utilizing Vibrotactile Coordinated Reset stimulation (vCR), patients wear two pairs of gloves that send vibration to different fingertips every day in different patterns – helping reset abnormal firing of nerve cells that cause symptoms like tremors, stiffness and balance issues in Parkinson’s.

Researchers performed this research study by monitoring patients’ movements and brain activity to see how the gloves affected them, recording electroencephalographs (EEG) before and after treatments with the vCR gloves. Their analysis demonstrated that they were well tolerated without any side effects being noticed, while significantly improving motor performance for all.

The research builds upon past studies showing vibration can alleviate Parkinson’s symptoms. A 19th-century French neurologist named Jean-Martin Charcot noted that his patients’ tremors would temporarily improve after long carriage and horseback rides, while MJFF has supported several projects using vibration as an aid against PD symptoms, including socks and shoe inserts designed to administer vibration to reduce freezing of gait. A recent review, however, concluded whole-body vibration did not provide sufficient evidence of its benefit.

Although the results from the vCR experiment were promising, more extensive studies are necessary to ascertain whether or not the Stanford Glove can benefit a wider variety of PD patients. To do this accurately, Stanford team must test this device on more patients while also comparing it against other interventions like medications, exercise or occupational therapy.

Developed by EVHS

Students from Northern New Mexico College’s (NNMC) engineering program and Espanola Valley High School (EVHS) math, engineering, and science achievement programs have created a glove designed to reduce symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease. Using vibration therapy, it retrains misfiring nerve cells in the brain responsible for tremors and other movement issues; additionally it may prevent further brain cell loss based on research that demonstrated wearing vibrating gloves helped improve quality of life for people living with the disorder and could ultimately lead to future treatments that are simple, noninvasive treatments of Parkinson’s.

Recently, this project was highlighted on The Today Show and many people living with Parkinson Disease were inspired by its story. But it’s important to keep in mind that accessing a vibrating glove requires participation in a clinical trial; its results should then be published in scientific journals; until then, patients should continue taking their prescribed medications and seeking exercise and other lifestyle interventions as needed.

Studies have demonstrated how simple vibration can help retrain the brain to reduce Parkinson’s symptoms. This concept originated with 19th-century neurologist Jean-Martin Charcot who observed his patients’ tremors improving after carriage or horseback rides. Scientists have since proven the theory using various devices – even using helmets designed specifically to shake the head to treat tremors.

Researchers from Rice University in Houston recently conducted an innovative study which demonstrated how vibrating gloves could retrain the brain to overcome tremors caused by Parkinson’s Disease (PD). Wearing them on both hands for about three months, researchers monitored both before and after treatments using electroencephalograms (EEGs) as a measure of brain electrical activity.

Even though the results of this study were impressive, EVHS continues to pursue other forms of vibration therapy for Parkinson’s. They are collaborating with University of Oregon researchers in developing socks which use vibration to alleviate freezing of gait as well as wearable devices which reduce stuttering.

Best Time of Day for Remote Healing

best time of day for remote healing

Remote healing (also referred to as distant energy healing) is an invaluable technique that works regardless of location. Think of it like an invisible bridge connecting two people with positive vibes!

Remote healing works similar to attending a rock concert; it helps elevate your vibrational energy. As such, it can make you feel more connected, balanced, and empowered.

1. Mornings

Morning is when both electromagnetic energy (qi) and spiritual healing take place at their most intense, making this the optimal time for remote healing sessions and spiritual healing sessions. Morning’s fresh, light, and clear energies are ideal for transmuting and balancing an individual’s energetic body.

Additionally, when conducting remote healing sessions it is essential that healers maintain a positive outlook in order to channel pure energies rather than their own negative emotions or patterns.

Before beginning their session, healers must also clear their energy field and space by invoking an energetic shield of love and light around themselves and their client, creating an ideal atmosphere to facilitate healthy flow of energy during the session. By doing this, they can more easily connect with their client while creating an environment conducive to healthful healing sessions.

If this is your first experience with remote healing sessions, it is advisable to first engage in a free remote healing session with friends or family members in order to become familiar with them and their experience. After that session is completed, email them a summary of what occurred as well as “homework” they can do daily in order to continue healing their body: meditation methods, watching guided practices videos online, journaling or speaking intentional statements may all aid the process.

Remote healing sessions may produce physical sensations, emotional releases, visual images or just make people feel extremely relaxed. To maximize results it is recommended that afterwards people relisten to the vocal harmonic sound healing recording created for their session and meditate upon this daily.

At its core, people’s physical, mental and emotional well-being are inextricably intertwined. By including spirituality into everyday routines, the health of individuals can improve significantly – for instance those who make time for spiritual morning routines tend to enjoy stronger psychological wellbeing as a result of reduced mirroring negative energy from others (for instance when encountering someone acting like Oscar the Grouch). By developing spiritual practices you can aid the healing of your entire system.

2. Afternoons

Focus and intention allow consciousness to influence qi and electromagnetic energies from long distances, much like listening to powerful songs on the radio that lift your spirits or pull at your heartstrings, even though they happen thousands of miles away. Remote healing works on this same principle, channeling beneficial energy directly where needed through focused conscious intent over distance – the brahmamuhurta time is an ideal window for this and can even be performed live or recorded for later listening.

3. Evenings

On Wednesday evenings from 6 pm-7 pm (Eastern time), you are welcome to participate in our remote healing group session, even if it means being away physically. Tuning into energy and holding intention for receiving healing transmissions has an equivalent impact as physically being present – it’s just that the ability of consciousness to affect qi and electromagnetic energy doesn’t depend on distance as much as pure energetic vibrations and focused intention.

Think about how powerful it is to tune into a live concert that’s happening thousands of miles away and to hear a certain song uplift your spirits or stir your emotions, even though you weren’t there physically to witness it all yourself.

4. Weekends

Remote healing using energy and intention principles is just as powerful. Just as we can sense love from faraway places, so too can we feel healing energy flowing in sessions regardless of geographical distances – all it requires is focused intent.

As with any session, it’s essential to create an environment of love and light in advance of a remote healing session. Clearing the energy field around yourself and your client is also a powerful way of getting ready. I often refer to this technique as “purity blast” since it provides a swift shift of energy before or during sessions.

The weekend can be an extremely powerful time for healing. It provides the ideal opportunity to reconnect with yourself, heal your heart and soul and bring inner strength back into balance. Many people feel stuck, disempowered or disconnected from themselves and their purpose in life; therefore the weekend provides a perfect opportunity to release any outdated patterns which no longer serve us and reconnect with inner strength and wisdom.

Once in an attitude of gratitude, forgiveness, and acceptance it becomes easier to receive the energy required for healing and transformation. A healing session provides this energy directly into your body through its channeled route allowing it to help transform lack into abundance and vice versa.

As part of this healing energy can bring up emotions that need releasing, it’s important to remain mindful of your own energy and remain calm during this process. If you become overwhelmed or frustrated during this journey, it may help to take a few deep breaths before redirecting focus onto gratitude or forgiveness as alternatives.

An energetic healing session can help with any aspect of life – physical, mental, emotional or relational. Holistic energy healing is an invaluable means of personal transformation which can transform all facets of your existence.

Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) is a form of therapy using microamperage current and the resonance effects of frequencies to bring about beneficial changes to symptoms and health conditions. A range of frequencies, measured in hertz or Hz, is used to alleviate pain while stimulating tissue healing.

FSM is an emerging treatment option for those looking to alleviate pain and promote healing without resorting to pharmaceutical drugs or surgery. The technique works by scanning your body in order to determine which organs produce what frequencies, then applying frequencies to bring back up optimal vibrational levels – as well as potentially eliminating viruses and bacteria.

Particular focus is placed on treating nervous and muscular systems. Treatment works by increasing ATP production in these tissues – the primary energy source for the body – which allows faster healing of injuries such as broken bones or torn ligaments as well as long-term chronic pain problems like arthritis. This therapy can be used for acute injuries as well as long-term chronic issues like arthritis.

The FSM frequency directory offers over 350 frequencies that address a range of ailments. Some are intended to reduce inflammation while others aim to remove scars or increase range of motion. Still others are designed to eliminate toxins from your body or eliminate viruses and bacteria.

One of the more interesting frequencies is 417 Hz, part of the Solfeggio frequency scale and associated with sacral chakra, the center of our personal power believed to balance and harmonize physical and spiritual energies. Alternatives to ECT Therapy

alternatives to ect therapy

Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) can be an effective form of treatment for individuals suffering from severe depression and other mental health conditions, particularly when other forms of therapy such as medications and psychotherapy have failed.

Modern electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) differs significantly from what was depicted in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and uses less electric stimulation, and can even be performed under anesthesia to ensure safety and speedy relief from anxiety symptoms.

Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS)

Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is a noninvasive procedure that utilizes an electromagnetic coil to stimulate brain areas involved with mood regulation. Unlike electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), which may lead to seizures, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation does not lead to significant side effects and has been FDA-approved as treatment for treatment-resistant depression, OCD, migraines and helping individuals stop smoking.

For rTMS therapy, you typically sit or recline while your physician applies a coil to your scalp and generates a magnetic field similar to that produced by an MRI scanner. When this field changes rapidly, small electrical currents are generated in your brain that affect neurons and neural circuits in ways that alter how mood is controlled.

This treatment may take from 30-60 minutes in either a clinic or doctor’s office and should produce an unpleasant tapping or tingling sensation on your scalp, though with subsequent sessions the sensation should begin to lessen and eventually go away altogether. Some patients may experience dizziness during or shortly after treatment sessions, however this usually passes quickly.

rTMS uses much lower magnetic pulses than those used in ECT, meaning there is much less of a risk for seizure-like activity. However, rTMS may not be appropriate if you have had seizures in the past or cannot tolerate anesthesia; pregnancy and breastfeeding mothers should also not receive rTMS treatments as pregnant or breastfeeding women may not tolerate them well enough for safe results.

Studies on rTMS have produced promising results in treating depression and other conditions resistant to standard therapies; however, further investigation must be conducted into its long-term safety and effectiveness. Furthermore, it must be remembered that rTMS does not directly treat its cause but should instead be combined with medications and psychotherapy as part of a holistic solution plan.

Your doctor will discuss all available rTMS protocols with you to select one that’s most suited to your symptoms and situation. Common side effects from rTMS therapy may include scalp discomfort or temporary headaches; confusion and difficulty remembering things; however most of these side effects tend to be mild and temporary whereas more serious reactions could potentially arise for certain individuals.

Vagus nerve stimulator (VNS)

VNS therapy is an alternative to electroconvulsive therapy for people suffering from depression, bipolar disorder, or unipolar depression. It’s a non-invasive wireless neurostimulation device that uses electrical stimulation to target and alter the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve is one of 12 pairs of cranial nerves which transmit electrical impulses between your brain and various parts of the neck, head, and torso; its job is to pass information from body parts back into your mind that helps control things such as appetite and heart rate regulation.

Doctors don’t yet fully understand how it works, but they think the vagus nerve sends information to an area of your brain which controls seizures. Once activated, an electric current passes through it stimulating part of your vagus nerve to stimulate an area in your brain while interrupting abnormal electrical activity in your mind and changing how your brain releases chemicals, potentially reducing seizure activity or even preventing further episodes in future.

If you have epilepsy, your doctor will advise whether VNS is right for you. In some cases, such as anticonvulsants, you might need to discontinue taking certain medications prior to receiving the procedure. Your physician will discuss your health history and allergies as part of this assessment process before placing a small implant on the left side of your chest consisting of two parts – lead and generator. Battery powered lead lasts five-10 years while generator sends mild electric current through it to send current through lead.

The generator converts electrical impulses from your vagus nerve into an audio signal that travels via wire to a small electronic box called a pulse generator, where they’re broadcast directly into your brain via wires. These pulses may help calm and relax you as well as reduce seizures; in case of seizure attacks, using magnets may trigger extra bursts of electrical pulses that might help stop it altogether.

ECT

ECT (electroconvulsive therapy) is an older form of treatment that uses electric currents to induce brief seizure-like events in the brain. It’s typically used to address severe depression that has not responded to other methods, including antidepressants or psychotherapy; additionally, it’s often effective at stopping manic episodes or treating schizophrenia.

Under general anesthesia in a hospital operating room, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) procedures involve placing small electrode pads the size of a silver dollar on your scalp and applying medication that renders you unconscious; at that point a professional monitors your heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and movement – and although no pain occurs during sessions you may become groggy afterwards as it resets neurons and chemicals within your brain resetting neurons and chemicals at an unprecedented speed – however its exact mechanisms remain unknown but its results have shown to change rapidly your chemistry!

Though electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) may be beneficial to some, it’s not appropriate for everyone. With its long and controversial history – including early procedures that were done without anesthetic and led to serious side effects – ECT is still not recommended for people suffering seizures, heart problems or pregnancy as it could potentially have negative impacts on memory as well as cause severe side effects.

Once ECT has dramatically reduced your depressive symptoms, further treatment will likely be necessary to avoid relapse. This may involve taking medications alongside cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or counselling – depending on your treatment goals, preferences and tolerance level.

No one knows for certain exactly how ECT helps treat depression, but it appears to work by altering brain chemistry. Furthermore, studies have demonstrated its superior effectiveness compared to other treatments, such as medication used to manage bipolar disorder manic phases or cognitive behavioral therapy for depression. Furthermore, ECT may benefit people who do not respond well to other therapies and risk harming themselves or others; those suffering from catatonia, which prevents eating or drinking and leads to serious injury or dehydration benefit significantly from receiving treatment through ECT as well.

Peter Gariaev and the Garyaev Matrix

gariaev peter petrovich

Garyaev has created a device called the Garyaev Matrix that transfers genetic information from younger DNA into older DNA, rejuvenating your body. Furthermore, this technique reverses diseases and prevents cancer.

Gariaev was elected to both the Russian Academy of Sciences and New York Academy of Science. He pioneered Wave Genetics theory, which is founded on coherent physical radiations, holography and solitons.

Peter Gariaev is a Russian scientist

Gariaev first discovered the DNA Phantom Effect and established Wave Genetics. His innovative techniques used wave patterns encoded with healthy DNA to heal damaged organs and cells over distance, opening the door for noninvasive healing methods to be transmitted long distances without risk. His work generated controversy among scientists as it inspired innovative techniques for reverse disease reversal – his methods have assisted people recovering from strokes, IBS, and other life-altering injuries.

Gariav’s experiments demonstrate that DNA is a complex system capable of storing and transmitting information much like human language and waves. His research encompassed genetics, quantum mechanics and bioinformatics. Gariav developed the revolutionary concept known as Linguistic Wave Genome which suggests DNA has an inextricably linked linguistic structure similar to human speech with syntax and grammar similarities similar to speech patterns; Gariav believed this allowed frequency frequencies like spoken words or electromagnetic signals to influence it directly.

Gariaev developed his theory positing that DNA acts like a holographic continuum that can be reconfigured using frequencies, creating life-changing technologies such as remote healing and cell regeneration. His research was published in respected journals as well as presented at conferences worldwide.

Gariaev‘s research has caused widespread debate in the scientific community, prompting many of his peers to question and even attack its validity and integrity. But these criticisms should not deter him from fulfilling his mission of improving life through innovative science.

Gariaev conducted experiments that demonstrated how reprogramming DNA with frequency-based language could halt disease and accelerate recovery from illness, for example by using waves encoded with healthy pancreas DNA to restore pancreatic function in diabetic rats. He also demonstrated how this information could be transmitted long distances via electromagnetic fields to allow doctors to treat their patients more safely and with minimal invasiveness.

He pioneered Wave Genetics

Russian scientist Peter Gariaev‘s groundbreaking work has produced extraordinary healing and longevity benefits for his subjects. His research centers around DNA’s quantum and electromagnetic nature as a holistic continuum. He developed theories utilizing coherent physical radiations, holography and solitons; as well as his theory of physical vacuum. Furthermore, Gariaev created an interpreter language so DNA can communicate directly with humans via writing, speaking or thinking.

Gariaev made an astonishing discovery: DNA is an intelligent biological Internet that surpasses artificial ones in many respects. His discovery opened up opportunities for psychotronic technologies that modify genetic code to treat disease. Furthermore, he discovered that DNA can be reprogrammed using words and frequencies without disrupting or replacing individual genes – this revolutionized discovery could explain phenomena like clairvoyance, intuition, remote self-healing techniques, affirmation techniques etc.

He has also developed a technique that restores an object to its quantum state at the time it was captured on photo, while simultaneously receiving energy from an information-restoring applied device charged according to their original matrix. This allows them to heal and rejuvenate themselves for greater vitality and health.

His electromagnetic generator was another significant achievement, successfully translating human speech into signals recognized by plants. He demonstrated this technology’s utility by successfully helping wheat and barley survive lethal doses of radiation exposure; and has even used it to provide genetic information directly to plants.

Apart from his groundbreaking discoveries, Dr. Krznar has also written many scholarly articles and established the LLC Institute of Quantum Genetics. A member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, he has presented his research at numerous international conferences as well as having his work published in prestigious journals and magazines; winning him the “Nauchnye Zhurnal” award in 2010. Additionally, many translations exist into English and Russian as well as books being printed. Furthermore he regularly gives lectures and workshops regarding his discoveries around the globe.

He discovered the DNA Phantom Effect

Gariaev‘s research has resulted in astonishing healing and longevity benefits for his research subjects, and has created multiple companies and non-profit organizations dedicated to helping reverse disease and delay aging processes. He even developed a language for DNA, enabling it to communicate directly with humans via writing, speaking and thinking – this discovery opening the doors to Wave Genetics as a new field of science.

The DNA Phantom Effect occurs when laser light interacts with DNA molecules, creating an electromagnetic field with similar properties to what a photon creates within an uncharged atom. It has been suggested that this field can be excitably excised from physical vacuum close to zero energy level providing a plausible explanation for other apparent phantom effects.

Researchers from Lebedev Physics Institute have used laser correlation spectroscopy to explore the dynamics of this phantom field’s dynamics, providing both qualitative and quantitative data regarding its coupling constant with conventional electromagnetic fields of laser radiation.

Nonlinear coupling has been demonstrated under specific conditions associated with DNA phantom fields. Furthermore, DNA phantom fields could represent newly discovered physical vacuum substructures which may prove invaluable when developing nonlinear quantum field theories.

A recent analysis demonstrates that the phantom DNA field exhibits highly complex dynamical behavior similar to nonlinear localized excitations predicted by Fermi-Pasta-Ulam lattice model. These NLEs tend to last long and can take either stationary or slowly propagating forms.

NLEs have been demonstrated to exert considerable effects on biological systems, altering cell structure and function. Gariaev‘s team demonstrated that DNA could be altered by acoustic, electromagnetic and scalar waves as well as by being transmitted between cells; similar concepts underlying teleportation may even allow genetic information transmission between living cells.

He helped people reverse disease

Linguistic Wave Genetics is an emerging form of genetics which uses sound waves to alter DNA, providing powerful benefits in healing people from various illnesses and even preventing their deaths. One such disease being reversed with Linguistic Wave Genetics is pancreas cancer caused by environmental toxins but curable by laser. A control group was given poison to damage their pancreas but this failed, while another received genetic information via laser that helped regenerate their pancreas cells, ultimately preventing diabetes and returning their pancreas functioning normally once again.

Gariaev‘s research into the holographic structure and energy of DNA has provided his subjects with extraordinary healing and longevity benefits. His theory draws upon principles such as coherent physical radiations, holography and solitons as well as vacuum theory as well as fractal representation of DNA as human verbal expression or speech.

As proof, he performed an experiment wherein he used laser light to illuminate a live duck with its image projected onto a fertile chicken egg, whereupon its embryo then hatched into a chick with flat beaks and webbed feet – this phenomenon occurs because light partially altered electromagnetic information in duck DNA which caused an alteration in genetic activation code for chick embryo. He even produced a video documenting this process which can be seen here; and has published his findings in several scientific journals.
