Energy Therapy – What is it and How Can it Help You?

energy therapy

Energy therapy entails stimulating prana, or life force energy, to heal both emotional and physical ailments using techniques designed to balance out body’s energies.

Most therapies involve stimulating points on the body similar to those targeted in acupuncture, including body tapping and exposure therapy.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Technique is an energy therapy practice which uses tapping on body’s energy meridians combined with verbal affirmations to remove emotional blockages and enhance natural healing processes in the body. The technique has quickly become a mainstay in modern energy psychology and has attracted widespread support among healers, scientists, and spiritualists.

Based on the belief that negative emotions are caused by disruptions to our body’s energy system, unblocking negative or stuck energy throughout your body can help ease negative emotions while simultaneously alleviating physical ailments and performance issues often associated with these emotions.

This self-administered method requires you to focus on an issue that’s bothering you and rate its severity on a scale of zero to 10. Next, while repeating “I deeply love and accept myself,” tap with your fingers on certain energy points called meridian points – believed to be pathways through which life energy (known as “chi” or prana”) flows – until tapping releases any blockages to its flow and restores equilibrium within your energy body.

Tapping can be done anywhere and requires no equipment; even in front of a mirror to see exactly what you are doing! Furthermore, tapping is an effective and straightforward method for managing stress, anxiety and other forms of emotional turmoil.

Studies have demonstrated the efficacy of EFT for treating PTSD and other emotional traumas, such as by decreasing cortisol levels in the amygdala, decreasing memory reactivity to trauma events and increasing gene expression which regulate stress responses.

Though these studies are small-scale, their findings indicate that EFT is an effective alternative to psychotherapy in helping individuals deal with PTSD, pain and depression symptoms. Furthermore, it encourages patients to trust their natural healing powers of their bodies while improving outlook on life.

Notably, qualified EFT practitioners can give clients a better understanding of the psychological and neurobiological processes involved in EFT treatment, providing them with an holistic perspective that may lead to more successful results.

Thought Field Therapy (TFT)

Thought Field Therapy (TFT) is an energy healing practice that utilizes finger tapping. Practitioners have developed series of tapping sequences known as algorithms to address specific thought fields and emotional issues; using these sequences helps unlock and eliminate negative emotion associated with problems.

TFT applies the principles behind Eastern medical practices like acupuncture and acupressure to facilitate personal healing. Both disciplines conceive of the body as containing specific energy pathways called meridians that, when blocked, cause health problems. TFT utilizes these same meridians by stimulating specific points with fingertips rather than needles to address specific issues in areas of the brain that correspond with each meridian point; these meridian points correspond with areas affected by any particular issue in which TFT sessions may take place.

In a session, clients tap their fingertips on various areas of their face and hands in a systematic sequence, counting, humming or repeating self-affirming quotes while doing it. It is believed that tapping helps increase effectiveness by stimulating certain parts of the brain – this may also help promote rational thought when applying this technique to situations or problems.

TFT sessions typically last 30 to 90 minutes and have been described as painless. TFT has proven itself effective for treating numerous issues ranging from common phobias to PTSD; its application has proved especially useful when faced with witnessing or experiencing traumatizing events.

Therapists increasingly utilize TFT alongside traditional talk therapy to assist clients in processing their experiences and emotions, with TFT even sometimes being an alternative way of discussing trauma directly with a therapist.

Though TFT is not scientifically validated, its effects seem lasting. Studies have demonstrated its success at alleviating anxiety and alleviating PTSD symptoms. It’s important to remember that practitioners are subject to regulations on how they promote their services, so cannot make claims that this treatment will cure specific illnesses or conditions. It is advised that anyone considering TFT seek advice from a qualified practitioner prior to beginning treatment.

Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT)

TAT is an energy healing technique that uses light pressure on the head to stimulate acupressure points and identify unresolved emotions, beliefs, or traumas. TAT may be used alone or combined with other energy therapy modalities for maximum effect; its application has proven effective at helping people break free of addictive behavior as it reduces stress and anxiety levels, works through emotional blocksages, promotes relaxation and fosters clarity of thought.

TAT was developed by licensed acupuncturist Tapas Fleming in 1993 as an alternative to EFT and has proven very effective. By applying pressure to specific acupressure points on the face and back of head with specific statements repeated over and over, traumas can be released, fears eased, emotional upsets reduced or eliminated entirely, physical issues like pain headaches or allergies can be effectively alleviated and this technique provides quick results.

TAT can be considered as an easier alternative to EFT and is suitable for people of all ages and genders. TAT is easily learned and applied both individually or with family members; its fast learning process makes it accessible for use against depression, insomnia and phobias among other problems.

As with EFT, TACT involves activating the body’s subtle energy system by stimulating various energy meridian points and tapping to activate these points. Affirmations may also be used to address and identify root issues of problems and their source patterns; Tact can be combined with TFT and EMDR therapies for holistic healing.

TAT can be an invaluable asset in addiction recovery, providing valuable relief from emotional blockages and traumas rooted in childhood abuse or neglect (ACEs). By relieving stress, anxiety, relaxation and clarity it can also reduce cravings as it helps release negative emotions such as anger or fear associated with particular triggers while aiding the process of forgiveness.

As with other energy healing modalities, anyone interested in TAT should seek training from an experienced practitioner and carry professional liability insurance as protection from potential claims related to practicing this technique.

Exposure Therapy

People living with anxiety often spend much of their energy trying to avoid people, places or things that make them fearful. While initially this may help lower anxiety levels, over time this can create more negative thoughts and feelings than initially intended. Exposure therapy seeks to combat this by gradually confronting fearful triggers in a safe setting – though this approach can be challenging it’s proven highly successful at treating phobias, anxiety disorders and even post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Exposure therapy comes in various forms. Your therapist will choose which form best meets the underlying psychological issues and severity of symptoms you are experiencing. Therapists usually start out by gathering extensive details on mental health history before explaining how exposure therapy works and setting treatment goals with you.

Exposure therapy usually starts off by working on relaxation and anxiety reduction strategies with you, such as breathing exercises and guided visualizations. Once these have become part of your everyday routine, therapists may introduce one of three exposure methods into their sessions:

In-vivo exposure involves physically placing yourself into situations or environments you fear, such as swimming in an ocean where there may be sharks. Your therapist might encourage this or ask you to visualize yourself being hit by a wave instead. Interoceptive exposure works similarly, though instead of targeting specific physical sensations like elevated heart rate or shortness of breath directly confronting any bodily responses like elevated heart rate such as running in place to briefly increase it instead. Prolonged exposure utilizes both methods at once – proven particularly successful for treating posttraumatic Stress disorder sufferers.

After you have completed the initial stages of exposure therapy, your therapist will slowly increase the intensity of stimuli until you can interact with a previously frightening object, activity or situation without anxiety. This process could last from several sessions up to many more depending on the severity and complexity of your anxiety issues.

How to Find a Holistic Health Practitioner

find a holistic health practitioner

Holistic health practitioners take an integrative approach to medicine, incorporating traditional and natural remedies for treatment options.

All-round professionals possess qualities such as compassion and sensitivity, dedication to lifelong learning, curiosity, open-mindedness and excellent verbal communication skills. In addition, they tend to avoid playing the insurance game and charge fair fees.

1. Ask for Referrals

Finding a holistic health practitioner often comes down to getting a referral from someone you trust – be it friends, family or other healthcare professionals. Researching may also help avoid unpleasant experiences or encountering practitioners that don’t offer what you require.

Holistic practitioners tend to offer a comprehensive array of healing techniques, from massage therapy and acupuncture, through nutrition coaching and herbal medicine, all the way up to herbal remedies and beyond. It isn’t unusual for holistic doctors to practice multiple modalities within one office setting as many of them combine multiple approaches as their preferred means of treatment.

Holistic healthcare practitioners specialize in treating cancer, autoimmune diseases and arthritis holistically by targeting both symptoms and causes simultaneously. Their physicians tend to have more experience identifying complex factors that contribute to conditions and how different diseases interact with one another.

Holistic healthcare practitioners tend to offer more effective solutions than their medical counterparts, which tend to treat only symptoms rather than root causes of diseases. This is one reason patients choose holistic healthcare practitioners.

At its core, holistic physicians offer honest assessments of your current state of health. While this might mean hearing some harsh truths that go against what you currently believe about wellness, in the long run it will all pay off!

As with any healthcare decision, holistic doctors can be found by asking current healthcare providers for referrals, searching online reviews or asking the practitioner directly. If you are dealing with a serious condition don’t be afraid to bring up with your physician about what support and care is necessary and discuss with him or her before selecting one based on credentials alone.

2. Look Online

Websites or practice brochures of practitioners usually outline their credentials and training, hours, and fees structure. A genuine practitioner will likely be proud to show off their credentials; however, you should keep in mind that different practitioners offer various approaches; not all possess equal qualifications.

Once you have selected a practitioner to see, schedule an appointment. When visiting their office space and listening to how staff treats you and listens to what your gut instinct tells you about the practitioner, be mindful of whether you feel safe enough expressing yourself freely and openly with them and the staff.

How a holistic health practitioner works will depend on their practitioner, but in general they use multiple modalities to treat their patients. They look for the root cause of disease or symptom and offer additional treatments such as diet, exercise, herbal medicine and acupuncture in order to heal the patient. Aside from medical training, good holistic health practitioners possess high levels of empathy and understanding as well as being dedicated to lifelong learning; typically being very curious yet open-minded individuals with outstanding verbal communication skills as well as sensitive compassion practices themselves by being very attentive towards their own health care.

Holistic practitioners tend to forgo working within the insurance system and instead provide their services directly to consumers at very fair fees, providing care without copays and deductibles which can become prohibitively costly.

When selecting a holistic health practitioner, be sure they have at least completed an accredited training program and earned certification. Furthermore, ask about any specialized credentials relevant to your case; this will give you confidence that they possess both knowledge and experience to address it effectively.

3. Check the Credentials

If you’re interested in becoming a holistic health practitioner, it’s essential that you choose an accredited program from ACHS that best matches your educational and work experience needs. An admissions and student services advisor at ACHS can create a guided pathway designed specifically for you with courses matched to your learning style and previous education/work experiences.

Holistic health practitioners are licensed doctors who have the skill set needed to treat patients using both conventional medicine and alternative therapies. Holistic practitioners can identify the source of their patient’s discomfort, develop an appropriate plan, integrate alternative treatments into traditional healthcare services and communicate with primary care providers so all the patient’s health needs are being fulfilled.

People experiencing medical conditions that necessitate lifestyle or diet changes often find the changes difficult to adapt to; such changes require time and energy most don’t possess. When these problems arise, people often turn to holistic health practitioners in search of relief but unsure how.

Holistic health practitioners usually begin by gathering medical history information before conducting an overall wellness evaluation, including physical exams, diagnostic tests like blood tests or urine samples and even MRI scans if necessary. They’ll also consider emotional and spiritual wellbeing, encouraging their patient to use meditation or yoga as ways of managing stress.

When selecting a holistic health practitioner, it’s crucial that you find one with extensive knowledge and experience in their field. Review credentials of any potential practitioners; investigate where they studied, their length of practice time and reputation as well as membership status in any professional organizations or if insurance providers have credentialed them as in-network providers.

4. Look for Experience

Holistic health practitioners tend to possess extensive knowledge in multiple fields of alternative medicine. This may include anatomy and physiology, nutrition and biochemistry, stress management and relaxation techniques, herbal and natural remedies as well as physical bodywork; giving them a solid grasp on their craft. This ensures they remain highly knowledgeable and skilled practitioners.

Most importantly, holistic health practitioners are dedicated to lifelong learning – this trait makes them adept at staying current on all the changes occurring in alternative medicine as it progresses and develops. They’re great listeners with strong verbal communication skills who tend to be compassionate and sensitive individuals.

Practitioners understand the body is comprised of mind, body, and spirit and how these three parts interact with one another. Their focus often centers on treating the source rather than treating symptoms only; this approach has led to an increase in holistic health practices among individuals looking for something beyond just prescription medicines from doctors.

When selecting a holistic health practitioner, it’s essential to do your homework and do a bit of due diligence. Like when selecting any physician, make sure they possess all of the required credentials, education and experience before choosing them as this will guarantee you receive optimal care. Also ask friends and family members for recommendations; they might have insight as to which practitioner would best meet your needs.

As alternative medicine continues to flourish, so will its need for regulation of practitioners. This trend can already be seen with professions like acupuncturists and massage therapists being required by Colorado to obtain licenses before expanding to cover other forms of modalities as time progresses.

Hulda Clark Parasite Zapper

hulda clark mini zapper

This low-voltage electronic parasite zapper runs on a 9 volt battery and emits low-voltage electronic pulses to effectively eliminate bacteria, yeast, mold and parasites without harming surrounding cells or viruses. Additionally, viruses inside cells may also be eliminated without adversely impacting them.

The Zapper comes equipped with two copper hand holds for easy handling. However, you may also use ESD straps or any type of current applicator – even wet metal pipes! – as current applicators.

Battery Life

The Hulda Clark Zapper is an electronic device intended to kill parasites, bacteria, viruses, mold, yeast and fungi. It consists of a pulse generator circuit, 9-volt battery and copper electrode handles or electrodes which the user places onto various parts of his or her body for use with certain zappers including timers that shut off automatically or pre-programmed programs; battery low indicator displays are other options available on some models.

Clark explained that the zapper works through resonance, inducing microorganisms to vibrate at their natural frequency and kill them by inducing resonance at that same frequency – killing off their species in turn. According to her claims, using the device doesn’t hurt users in any way and their only sensation might be mild heat or buzzing sensations.

Though not known to cure any particular disease, zapper users have reported increased energy and overall improved health as a result of eliminating harmful organisms and toxins that sap vitality. Some individuals have even experienced relief from digestive problems like bloating and gas.

The zapper is designed to be user-friendly and requires no special knowledge or expertise to operate. Comprised of a 9-volt battery, pulse generator circuit, two copper electrodes – or handles – which the user holds onto while placing on different parts of their body, an on/off button allows control as well as several preset programs available from preset memory banks.

Contrary to Rife pad type devices that produce low-voltage AC signals that may cause skin burns, zappers produce much lower voltage pulses with high frequency and short duration, making it safer.

AutoZap professional zappers produce more consistent output than simple 555 timer circuits and can easily be verified on an oscilloscope using special probes. Furthermore, their output features an extremely stable positive offset that never drops below the zero line on scopes, while keyed battery holders prevent users from inserting batteries with incorrect polarities.

Safety Features

hulda clark parasite zappers are electronic devices designed to emit low voltage pulses that kill parasites and bacteria found within human bodies. Their simple circuit utilizes a 9V battery to produce square wave pulses with low-frequency. Copper handles or electrodes connected by cables provide access for users. They’re often wrapped with wet cloth for maximum effectiveness in delivering these low frequency square waves through hands held by users to eliminate potential skin snagging issues.

An electrolytic device like this one is frequently combined with herbal supplements in order to eradicate pathogens from the body. Clark claims it can effectively eliminate various ailments by killing parasites, fungi and viruses in the system. Her book The Cure for All Diseases details her protocol for using such an electronic device as well as how best to use it.

The device consists of a pulse generator circuit which outputs low-frequency square waves at 30kHz. It includes two copper handles or electrodes which the user places into their hands for stimulation, wrapped with wet toweling to prevent skin snagging, with output leads connected via alligator clips (available from Radio Shack). Finally, testing should be conducted on an oscilloscope to ensure positive pulses only are produced.

If the output is not positive, it should not be used safely. Parasites and microbes cannot survive when exposed to negative electrical voltage; conversely they thrive under positive voltage, so in order to kill organisms successfully and safely. It is also essential that high-quality batteries provide constant voltage for long periods of time.

The Zapper works on the principle of resonance, where an object will vibrate at its own frequency when exposed to higher ones. For instance, placing a wineglass against a guitar string causes its vibrations to cause it to resonate and break; Clark believed that microorganisms too have their own resonant frequencies that when exposed they could be killed off through exposure.

Instructions

Hulda Clark, an alternative health practitioner, claims that her Zapper electrically kills parasites, bacteria, viruses, molds and fungi. According to Clark’s claims, viruses and bacteria appear to disappear within three minutes; tapeworm stages, flukes and roundworms in five; mites seven. This simple box features two copper pipes 4 inches by 1/2 inches long that conduct electricity. Once turned on for three 7-minute sessions with 20-minute breaks between sessions the Zapper should continue running; first session should target large parasites, second round will kill bacteria released by parasites released from bacteria released by parasites released by parasites before finally taking over cleaning up any residual toxins present within cells and tissues by killing large parasites before finally turning it off again to remove residual toxins left by large parasites then followed by removal of any residual toxins left within cells and tissues before eventually switching off.

The Zapper is easy to use and doesn’t require soldering or technical knowledge to assemble. It uses battery power as its pulse generator and emits positive DC voltage offset pulses; an alternative negative output option exists, though not advised for medical applications.

Once assembled, it should be tested for proper operation using a multimeter that displays frequency spectrum readings; such devices can be purchased from many electronics stores at an inexpensive price. Alternatively, bring it into an electronics shop that repairs TVs, stereos and computers – these shops typically provide oscilloscope services that should allow them to read out your signal with little hassle and fee.

If the zapper generates a positive square wave with a frequency of 30K or above, it is not functioning correctly. Instead, it should produce a negative offset square wave at 0.5Hz or below instead – this newer technology may prove more effective than 30K technology.

Dr. Clark had her patients use carbon handles with wet electrodes as part of the treatment regime for their patients, placing the zapper under their feet with carbon handles for maximum effectiveness. Straps and cords used with most zappers contain high resistance (1 megaohm), which drains much of its energy away before reaching parasite killing capabilities; in contrast, electrodes and wires sold separately provide lower resistance levels allowing more of it to go towards killing parasites.

Warranty

A zapper is a simple electronic device that generates low-voltage current (typically dual polarity 5V square wave with DC component of 2.5V) and delivers it through copper handles or electrodes held by users or placed on various parts of their bodies. It consists of a pulse generator circuit including a 555 timer IC, NPN transistor, resistors, and capacitors – along with some resistors and capacitors for added safety.

Properly constructed zappers generate only a tiny fraction of the voltages available from conventional medical devices, eliminating any risk of electric shock or tissue damage. Hulda Clark claims her zapper can kill parasites, bacteria, viruses, fungi and molds by depolarizing their cells so they no longer function – according to Hulda she claims tapeworm stages and flukes were eliminated within three minutes and an array of microbes within five.

Our company produces a zapper that offers unparalleled frequency selections and craftsmanship. As class leader it is both user friendly and packed with features not found elsewhere – rechargeable battery included; manufactured by real engineers on an ISO-9002 SMD line to ensure quality control; guaranteed by Dr. Clark to perform exactly as described.

Resonant Voice Therapy Exercises Handout

resonant voice therapy exercises handout

Resonant voice techniques optimize vocal resonance while decreasing strain, improving quality and stamina to create a stronger, clearer, more powerful voice.

Learn resonant voice therapy exercises such as lip trills, humming, and easy onset phonation to assist your clients in creating more forward focus and resonant quality in their voices. This specialized approach targets voice disorders while improving vocal quality among both singers and speakers alike.

Warm-up exercises

Resonant voice therapy is a specialized technique designed to optimize vocal resonance and reduce strain on vocal folds. Patients using this form of treatment can attain a healthy, powerful sound allowing them to speak clearly and confidently in any setting. Furthermore, this treatment method has proven its efficacy against muscle tension dysphonia (MTD) and vocal nodules as well.

At the core of resonant voice therapy lies warming up vocal cords by singing simple phonations and vocal exercises. These simple techniques balance air pressure across all three registers – chest, mixed, and head voice without strain – as well as building bridges between these different registers for easy transition between speaking in each register.

Start warming up your vocal chords by performing the Pharyngeal Resonance Point exercise by placing two fingers between your nose and mouth, saying “ahh,” closing lips around throat area as if to swallow (but without actually swallowing), repeat this exercise 10 times, until you feel vibration under fingers; this exercise helps strengthen pharynx muscles which then lead to stronger projection and more vocal flexibility.

Straw Phonation exercise provides another effective option, by vocalizing through a straw to regulate airflow and focus sound. It’s especially helpful for singers or those with high-pitched voices, and can improve sound quality by decreasing vocal fatigue and strain.

Breathing exercises are also essential in resonant voice therapy, helping strengthen your diaphragm to ensure adequate breath support for your voice and reducing strain on vocal folds. Humming can be another great way of warming up and opening up the throat area while simultaneously improving coordination, coordination and articulation.

Resonant voice therapy is an amazing and safe way to increase the quality of your voice. Through breathing techniques, voice placement exercises, and resonant humming techniques you can reduce vocal fatigue while expanding your vocal range, enabling you to communicate confidently in any setting – workplace meetings and presentations, family relationships or domestic harmony all benefit from Resonant Vocal Therapy’s powerful effects.

Resonance exercises

Resonant voice therapy exercises provide individuals with tools to enhance the vibrato of their vocal resonators, producing richer and more powerful sounds. Resonant voice therapy also works on relieving tension that could otherwise cause fatigue or injury to the voice, expanding range and improving articulation – as well as creating an expansive vocal range with extensive tones that is easy to comprehend and apply through exercises such as humming or easy-onset phonation.

Resonant Voice Therapy Technique (RVTT) is an evidence-based approach to treating dysphonia. This treatment can improve various voice issues such as nodules and polyps, reduce vibration intensity between vocal folds and increase clarity and confidence while conversing. Ideal for singers, public speakers and everyday individuals.

An SLP will lead you through a series of exercises designed to promote vocal resonance during resonant voice therapy sessions. These exercises are based on the anatomy and physiology of your vocal tract – its series of resonating chambers that shape sound waves – such as breathing drills, support drills, articulation drills, humming exercises and semi-occluded exercises such as the straw phonation technique to control airflow while encouraging balanced vibratory responses.

Resonant voice therapy exercises often focus on improving the position and strength of vocal folds to combat involuntary tightening that causes hoarseness or loss of voice, known as idiopathic stridor. Furthermore, such exercises may help prevent throat cancer by helping stop tumor formation.

Resonant voice therapy can also assist in improving other issues that impact voice quality, including breathing and articulation difficulties, tension reduction in neck and shoulders, improved vocal quality and endurance as well as symptoms associated with autoimmune laryngitis such as hoarseness. Resonant voice therapy makes for an ideal way to communicate effectively regardless of context or environment.

Projection exercises

Develop the skill of vocal projection is vital for singers looking to craft captivating and professional sounds. This can be achieved by increasing vocal tract vibration and expanding volume of sound waves, while controlling force of articulatory sounds helps ensure quality vocal performance while decreasing strain on vocal cords.

SLPs employ various strategies and exercises to teach patients how to enhance their projection, such as vocal hygiene training, breathing exercises, voicing techniques and resonant voice therapy. While some strategies may take more practice before showing results, the benefits far outweigh the additional effort.

Projection exercises are used to retrain the muscles that support vocal folds. When speaking or singing, these muscles can tighten, leading to loss of clarity and strength in one’s voice. Furthermore, this exercise aims to encourage an equal relationship between diaphragm and intercostal muscles; therefore, an SLP must teach their clients to breathe from their abdomen instead of using intercostal muscles to expand chest cavity space.

“M hum” exercise can also help improve vocal projection. It involves focusing on the m sound and pronouncing it with a forward tone – something which may otherwise be difficult when your tongue tends to slip down the back of the throat; this exercise helps eliminate this difficulty and promote more forward sounds.

Practice these exercises can help clients, particularly during times of stress or when speaking loudly, as it will teach them how to properly control their volume and avoid yelling. Furthermore, these exercises will teach clients how to produce distinctive consonant sounds when communicating quickly or in noisy environments.

The Resonant Voice Therapy Exercise handout is an invaluable resource for speech language pathologists working with clients who suffer from voice disorders. This handout contains a wide variety of exercises designed for various client populations – such as functional dysphonia or muscle tension dysphonia – organized according to treatment approaches so SLPs can easily locate and compare exercises designed specifically for these populations.

Breathing exercises

Resonant voice therapy can significantly decrease vocal fold tension, one of the main contributors to voice disorders such as muscle tension dysphonia and vocal nodules. Furthermore, this therapy helps individuals maintain healthy vocal sounds for longer, decreasing future risk factors associated with vocal nodules or nodule problems.

SLPs guide individuals through a series of exercises and techniques designed to strengthen vocal quality during therapy sessions. As they guide clients, SLPs will monitor progress and make necessary adjustments so that individuals achieve stronger, clearer voices suitable for a range of environments.

Breathing exercises are key components of resonant voice therapy, as they strengthen the diaphragm and ensure efficient airflow while relieving strain on vocal folds. Humming is one such exercise which encourages individuals to explore their mask resonance (vibrations in facial bones and sinuses). Humming can also promote proper breath support and coordination enhancement. SLPs may use additional sound elicitations such as “/v/” “z/”, /z”, /m”,”n”,”ng”, straw phonation technique,”and buzzy “/u/ to help individuals experience all benefits associated with Resonant Voice Therapy while developing volitional control over voice production patterns.

Resonant voice therapy exercises focus on more than strengthening vocal folds – they also focus on using correct vocal onset techniques. SLPs will instruct individuals how to start their phonation smoothly and gradually so as not to strain their vocal cords. SLPs teach individuals how to initiate sound by lowering the velum of the tongue and increasing lips space between lips which results in more open vocal tracts; additionally they instruct on relieving tension in neck and shoulder area so as to facilitate improved airflow.

Resonant voice therapy is an ideal choice for anyone looking to enhance their vocal clarity and projection, whether in professional or personal situations. Resonant voice therapy empowers individuals to speak confidently and build stronger connections with those they meet; at work it can increase productivity and foster business success while at home it can help children learn more effectively while creating a more harmonious family environment.

Many healers – from physicians and psychologists to massage therapists, physical therapists, Acupuncturists, and Reiki practitioners – have discovered that adding simple energy healing techniques into their current modalities has significantly strengthened their work. This is due to the energy systems being used being more open and accepting to healing processes when brought back into balance and opened up.

Prune Harris is an ardent educator whose primary mission is to promote self-empowerment and the individual’s innate healing powers by harnessing knowledge of energy. Born with the ability to see energy, Prune has long dedicated herself to learning and teaching – her Level 1: Fundamentals classes demonstrate this dedication.

Level 4: Practitioner Training

At this stage of your training program, you will gain advanced techniques that enable you to help others create healing energy in their lives. Practitioners possess the power to shift behavior, thought patterns, emotions, physical health and spiritual connection – as well as how to use energy systems and modalities that facilitate healing for clients with chronic and acute illness.

Step one in becoming a certified practitioner is successfully completing Year 2 of Certification Training classes offered in Phoenix or Chicago. Students completing one-year Level 1 Fundamentals programs also have the option to count their coursework towards Year 2 of certification training.
