Bioresonance Focused Ultrasound

Bioresonance focused ultrasound is an alternative medicine practice which claims to identify diseased internal organs and normalize their electromagnetic wave emissions, on the theory that healthy and unhealthy organs emit differing frequencies of electromagnetic radiation.

Ultrasound can temporarily open up the blood brain barrier in order to deliver chemotherapy drugs directly into tumors, known as sonodynamic therapy. This is accomplished using low intensity diagnostic ultrasound at therapeutic frequencies.

It’s a form of alternative medicine

MR-guided focused ultrasound (FUS) is a noninvasive cancer treatment method, using beams of ultrasound energy directed towards pinpoint targets within the body to heat up and destroy tumors without harming surrounding tissue. FUS offers safe, effective, minimally invasive treatment options for treating many tumors.

Bioresonance therapy requires patients to sit in front of an electronic device that measures electromagnetic waves produced by their bodies. According to bioresonance theory, unhealthy cells emit these electromagnetic waves that can be detected and changed back into normal by resonance therapy – making this form of alternative medicine widely promoted across many conditions but without any evidence supporting its claims of curating certain illnesses.

Recent research demonstrated that focused ultrasound can significantly decrease symptoms in people suffering from essential tremor, a movement disorder. Furthermore, it may prevent future episodes once treatment ceases and may help patients with Parkinson’s disease stop taking medications altogether – this study was one of the first to show how focused ultrasound therapy could improve quality of life for such patients.

It’s a scam

Imagine an electronic device capable of detecting and counteracting unhealthy frequencies emitted by diseased organs or cancer cells – bioresonance focused ultrasound promises this functionality, although its theory remains unproven: sick organs emit altered electromagnetic waves; by changing these back to normal frequencies, healing occurs naturally – however this scam proves otherwise.

Predatory medical practices pose serious threats to health as they delay seeking proper treatments for serious diseases like cancer. Furthermore, sessions that don’t work can cost thousands of pounds in wasted visits. According to health and beauty journalist Nadine Baggott “it is a dangerous form of quackery which preys upon vulnerable people”.

Though the FDA has pursued many purveyors of electrical devices, bioresonance focused ultrasound remains a popular alternative to conventional treatments – even being touted as a potential cure for cancer. However, there’s no scientific proof that focused ultrasound works and FDA warns against its use. Other forms of focused ultrasound may still offer benefits to cancer patients. Sonodynamic therapy utilizes low-intensity diagnostic ultrasound waves to temporarily open up the Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB), allowing chemotherapy agents to reach brain tumors through them. Acoustic energy generated from cavitating microbubbles containing these medications then causes reactive oxygen species that destroy cancerous cells nearby.

It’s dangerous

Bioresonance is an unproven treatment which claims to detect and cancel out unhealthy frequencies. While studies have revealed positive results from using this approach, many medical professionals caution against it as a replacement for more evidence-based approaches such as physical therapy or medication.

Bioresonance focused ultrasound has many medical applications; however, there are a number of safety issues that need to be resolved before it can be used on humans. The BBB consists of tight junctions between endothelial cells lining blood vessels in the brain that serve to block toxic substances and pathogens from entering. Focused ultrasound, however, can generate microbubbles which cross this barrier and carry drug payloads directly into tumors.

It’s expensive

Bioresonance therapy holds great promise for treating diseases like cancer, but it should not be seen as a panacea. Furthermore, its cost can be staggering: just the machine alone costs thousands of pounds, while individual treatments could even more expensive. People living with undiagnosed cancer might be tempted to give bioresonance therapy a try but should carefully consider any risks; otherwise they risk delaying seeking proper medical advice which could result in growing tumours and possibly death.

Thankfully, focused ultrasound treatment for essential tremor is becoming more widely accessible: the FDA recently granted it approval as an essential tremor treatment, and Medicare reimbursement will begin after January 1st 2024.

Focused ultrasound is a safe, minimally invasive procedure used to treat multiple disorders. Unlike other interventions, focused ultrasound does not require general anesthesia or incision for delivery in hospital settings – meaning patients will experience less adverse side effects as a result.

Magnetic resonance-guided focused ultrasound may offer an acceptable alternative to deep brain stimulation for those not eligible for neurosurgery, as it’s less expensive than therapies such as radiofrequency thalamotomy.
