Group distant healing sessions offer numerous advantages, one being that a healer can concentrate their attention on all members at the same time, unlike individual practitioners who may become drawn towards certain members or feel drawn toward specific people and may require more of your focus than is present for everyone in the group. Choosing a Healer
Healers vary in their approach and experience. Healers typically belong to professional associations and must adhere to stringent ethical guidelines. Healer selection plays an essential part of studies exploring how distant healing affects certain medical or psychological outcomes. Prior to any trial involving healers, interviews should take place and in extended studies their compliance with the experimental protocol should be documented through daily logs. Healers should be organized based on their level of expertise and training without regard for philosophy or belief systems that may bias results.
One major dispute in distant healing research revolves around the assumption that spiritually based therapies cannot be tested scientifically. Some scientists argue that distant healing is simply another form of prayer and therefore cannot be put through conventional medical research protocols for testing; others maintain that scientific methods do not depend on faith and have an obligation to investigate treatments where significant claims have been made without supporting evidence.
As with any randomized controlled trial, study designs for distant healing should include comprehensive statistical and model validity analyses. Healers either work collectively or individually to cast spiritual light onto people, groups of people, animals and the natural world – sending beams of spiritual love and light that help address emotional or karmic imbalances and promote whole-body wellness.
Before beginning their session, healers cleanse themselves and the environment by clearing themselves of all negative energies through chakra sweeping, visualizing any negative forces being cleared away, activating Cho Ku Rei and Sei He Ki symbols on primary chakras, calling on their spirit guides and guardians for support, and then entering a state of meditation for several minutes to achieve maximum effectiveness.
Once a session starts, healers tune into each person they are sending energy towards and visualize themselves as the hub from which the cables radiate out to recipients in a circle around them. Once this energy has begun to flow freely, participants may close their eyes and take several deep breaths before closing them off again and taking another deep breath.
