Energy therapy techniques seek to harmonize energy fields around the body to promote health and wellness, and encourage positive thoughts and emotions. Unfortunately, scientists haven’t studied many of these treatments enough in depth in order to offer reliable success rates for them.
Allopathic or Western medicine primarily addresses physical aspects of human beings, from hormones and peptides to cell membrane voltage potentials and neurotransmitter conversion. Yet it should include consideration of human energy fields (HEF).
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an ancient healing art involving placing thin needles at specific points on the body. It’s thought to reduce pain by altering how your brain and spinal cord process pain messages, as well as helping produce chemicals which promote healing and mood improvement. Acupuncture has long been used as an effective remedy for various medical conditions ranging from chronic backache and fibromyalgia to asthma and depression.
Energy medicine is an alternative or holistic form of therapy which treats imbalances in the body’s energy fields to restore their equilibrium, thus improving overall health. Energy medicine treatments may help relieve pain, stress and anxiety as well as potentially helping prevent cancer and other serious illnesses; however, scientific research in this area remains inconclusive. Along with acupuncture and Reiki practices, other forms of energy medicine include Qi Gong and acupressure treatments.
Your body emits subtle electromagnetic fields similar to those produced by electrical machines and devices, similar to what electrical machines generate. These electromagnetic fields communicate between organs and systems through energy relay points called acupuncture meridians and produce biophotons – emissions which provide information about your cellular health and well-being.
These energies influence our mental, physical and spiritual well-being, so when they’re disturbed they can lead to illness. Therefore it is vitally important that you eat a nutritious diet, exercise regularly and practice relaxation techniques as part of an overall wellness regime. You should also ensure you get sufficient rest as well as having an appropriate social support network in place.
Acupuncture has proven effective for treating various conditions, from neck pain and shingles to headaches and menstrual discomfort. Acupuncture works by increasing energy flow through 12 channels called meridians that run along our bodies’ length; not only can this relieve pain but it can also lower stress and improve sleep quality.
Acupuncture is an established medical practice, covered by most health insurance plans and recommended as part of treatment for many. Before scheduling a session with your provider, however, be sure to get their approval first and avoid consuming alcohol or drugs beforehand, which could compromise the effectiveness of treatment.
Pranic healing
Pranic healing is an energy healing technique that utilizes the human energy field (or aura) to address physical and emotional symptoms. Practitioners believe this energy may become imbalanced or blocked over time, leading to illness; thus scanning, cleansing and recharging your aura are believed to promote healing and promote lasting wellness.
Like acupuncture, Pranic healing is a non-touch therapy that uses energy to balance your life force. Based on the concept that our energy fields or aura can become imbalanced and cause symptoms like pain, headaches and fatigue; Pranic healing claims to help reduce stress while simultaneously increasing emotional well-being.
Pranic healing involves placing light, delicate hands over or above your body for an aura scan and to clear away any blockages, then spreading fresh energy throughout. Pranic healing may be used to treat anxiety, migraines, arthritis and high blood pressure – making it an attractive alternative medicine option. But please remember not to use it in place of medical advice!
Many people report positive effects from Pranic healing, including reduced anxiety and stress levels as well as increased energy levels and better sleep quality. Furthermore, it may help people stay connected to their spiritual selves, according to some practitioners. Notably, however, these benefits have yet to be scientifically demonstrated and it is advised not to take a shower immediately after an energy therapy session in order to allow your system to recharge itself properly. For any more questions or assistance about energy therapies consult with a healthcare provider. They can help determine which techniques would be the most beneficial to your needs, and energy therapies can often be safely added as complementary treatment plans to traditional approaches. Energy therapies don’t cause side effects and are completely noninvasive; they’re great for relaxation as well as speeding recovery from surgery, injury and illness. In the end, what’s important is whether or not energy healing interests you – if that is indeed the case then giving it a try might just make the difference for you!
Quantum touch
Quantum touch is an energy healing technique that works with the body’s energy fields to foster well-being. Practitioners employ breathing techniques, light touch techniques and body awareness techniques in order to channel and amplify life-force energy – believed by practitioners to support natural self-healing processes of their bodies – in addition to supporting emotional balance and physical health.
Benefits of this approach to healing include speedier recovery, enhanced immunity and deeper mind-body connections. Furthermore, it has been found to be safe even for individuals with serious health concerns and many practitioners combine this technique with others such as massage therapy or acupuncture to achieve maximum effectiveness.
Quantum touch practitioners are trained to connect with the universal life-force energy through meditation and patterned breathing, then transmitting this energy directly into their client’s energetic field for healing pain, improving circulation, strengthening immunity systems or helping with stress, anxiety and depression. Practitioners claim quantum touch may even help manage these conditions!
Richard Gordon, the creator of quantum touch, invented it during the 1970s and continues to teach it around the globe today. He lectures at medical centers, chiropractic establishments, holistic health schools and holistic healing schools; furthermore he has published several books on energy healing.
Quantum healing may not yet have been fully researched in scientific circles, yet its popularity among people seeking alternative approaches to well-being restoration is on the rise. Researchers such as Lynne McTaggart, Bruce Lipton and Joe Dispenza are all helping shed light on energy medicine through what’s known as pro-consciousness.
Cellular Resonance Quantum Healing (CRQH) brings together quantum science and energy medicine into one transformative system. CRQH’s intuitive and holistic healing approach works by clearing away energetic blocks and rewiring survival patterns to unlock your body’s innate healing capacities, and connecting people to their deepest healing intelligence. Practitioners of Cellular Resonance Quantum Healing have transformed lives by connecting people to their body’s innate healing power – this revolutionary healing approach helps clients overcome emotional traumas, improve physical wellness goals in both personal and professional lives alike!
Reiki
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a gentle touch therapy that uses light touch to release tension and restore balance to body, mind and spirit. Reiki may reduce symptoms associated with chronic illnesses like heart disease, arthritis and cancer; though not intended as a replacement for medical treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation; Reiki can be combined with other types of healing and self-improvement techniques like meditation and prayer for maximum effectiveness.
Reiki is a healing practice rooted in Eastern belief that an energy field exists that supports our natural healing capabilities. Many therapies aim to restore equilibrium to this biofield, such as acupuncture, qigong and shiatsu; however these forms of treatment tend to be more physical in their approach than Reiki which relies more heavily on vibrational healing to promote equilibrium rather than manipulation.
A session involves placing their hands gently on or above a clothed patient, usually lasting 20 minutes. During that time, the practitioner focuses on moving their hands through 12-15 hand positions focusing on seven major energy centers known as chakras – opening these pathways so energy may flow freely throughout your body, without becoming blocked causing fatigue or illness.
2021 research demonstrated the efficacy of Reiki on relieving fatigue and improving quality of life for breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment, while another found reiki could decrease anxiety levels prior to surgery or gastroscopy procedures. While research remains limited, its findings remain positive.
While more research needs to be conducted, many doctors believe reiki can reduce stress and anxiety and promote wellness. Roswell Park provides various integrative and spiritual care services as part of our holistic cancer care approach for our patients and their families undergoing cancer treatments. If you are interested in exploring reiki or any alternative therapies such as meditation or massage therapy, speak with your doctor first before beginning any new therapies; they can assist in finding qualified practitioners as well as how best to integrate these with conventional care; they may even refer you directly to Roswell Park’s Integrative Medicine program if necessary.
