Guided meditations
Beginners or experienced meditators, guided meditations can provide all of the tools you need to feel their best. From helping focus, decrease anxiety levels, and enhance sleep quality – to simply sitting quietly – guided meditations provide tools that can make us all feel our best! While silent meditation may feel intimidating at first, guided meditations feature an external soothing voice and structured approach – perfect for practicing while sitting, walking, eating, commuting or working! These podcast formats are available across platforms and can even be practiced while on platforms outside!
Guided relaxation meditations usually consist of soothing music, soundscapes and images; along with a short narrative to help focus and relax. Some guided relaxations encourage visualizing peaceful scenes such as beaches or forests while others focus on body awareness through breathing exercises or body scans – the latter offering breathing exercises as well as visualization exercises designed to bring attention around to each part of your body, paying particular attention to how each one feels before consciously releasing tension.
Guided meditations that feature affirmations are an excellent way to reinforce positive self-talk first thing in the morning or before going to sleep at night, or anytime throughout your day when experiencing negative thoughts or emotions. They can even help reframe how you view stressful situations or challenging life circumstances.
Some meditations focus on chakras – energy centers that correspond with physical and emotional states – guiding users to direct healing energy to specific chakras or regions as needed – such as your “root chakra.” Such practices may prove especially helpful for individuals dealing with illness or trauma.
