Advance Pure Volt Series
The APS series of pure sine wave inverters, chargers and voltage regulators has earned a solid reputation for reliability. Able to handle various AC input voltage ranges while offering automatic voltage regulation to protect sensitive appliances from overvoltage issues and save on energy costs while increasing appliance lifespans – the second-generation models feature IntelliVolt technology which automatically regulates for the highest output power possible!
UA’s keen design aesthetic shines through with their Volt series interfaces, which offer more substance than entry-level interfaces from many other manufacturers. One key distinction between them and other interfaces is that three models of Volt feature an 1176-inspired compressor; even though its capabilities don’t match those found on UAD plugins, this compressor still adds significant tone sweetening capabilities for guitar or vocal signals.
Volt series amps offer standard fare with TRS and XLR inputs featuring switchable phantom power, mix knob, mute/monitor-level knobs, as well as buttons that switch between mic line impedance and Hi-Z impedance for each input. There’s no EQ functionality on either preamp or compressor (nor are any controls for changing attack/release/gain), yet they still sound great together; vintage preamp voice and 76 comp complement one another well although perhaps lacking in flexibility/fidelity found elsewhere compared with analog gear/plugins; particularly impressive is that its ability to translate raw guitar signals without extra noise while adding significant sweetening is something which has impressed users in particular.
Optimum Series
The Optimum series sensors are ideal for process control and research applications. Their free core variants are specifically designed for precise linear positioning and measurement of moving parts within restricted spaces where zero friction and hysteresis are essential. A lightweight titanium core carrier may also be provided to further increase core-to-bore clearance.
Designed and engineered exclusively for UV lamp applications; offering optimal performance and reliability over competitors who repurpose general lighting ballasts. Each Optimum hi-output ballast features program start, cULus recognition and CE compliance chassis with microprocessor controlled driver. Furthermore, its RS485 communication allows real time monitoring of ballast parameters; such as current voltage current on/off time (four to twelve seconds per address).
OPTIMUM HI-OUTPUT SERIES Ballasts provide an input range from 100-277V (+/-10%) and are available with program start or instant start options, complying with RoHS 3 regulations with reduced EMC emissions. They are listed by cULus and CE as well as RoHS 3.
