Radionics 2071 Fire Alarm Systems

Radionics 2071 fire alarm systems are UL listed for Central, Local, Auxiliary and Remote Station applications and compatible with an extensive selection of Radionics/Bosch Security Systems initiating devices and alarm notification appliances.

The D2071A is a three-zone digital alarm communicator transmitter (DACT). Suitable for slave or stand-alone communications systems, its mode 3 configuration makes it suitable for slave alarm systems as well.

The D9124

The D9124 is designed to manage complex alarm systems found in schools, universities, manufacturing plants and health care facilities. With keyed controller access and being UL listed for Central Station, Local Alarm and Auxiliary Fire applications – as well as being equipped with its own digital alarm communicator transmitter (DACT), messages sent across two telephone lines will reach you quickly and reliably. Standard configuration supports up to 127 points of detection or supervision while expansion modules extend this figure up to 246!

Rejuvenate your whole body & balance your health without medications - now remotely!

Radionics/Bosch Security Systems initiating devices and alarm notification appliances can all work seamlessly together with this alarm notification appliance, making your life simpler. Certified by both CSFM and FM, it meets NFPA 72 standards while offering detailed reporting to assist in problem resolution.

Contrary to older alarm panels, this one allows you to respond immediately to trouble conditions without calling for emergency response crews – saving both time and money in response costs. Furthermore, it provides details to the fire department regarding what caused it, enabling maintenance personnel to address any potential issues immediately.

The D9124’s base system configuration features 127 points of detection or supervision; expanding through plug-in polling loop modules brings this total up to 246, while its advanced communications capabilities facilitate direct contact between each device point and fire monitoring stations; relaying accurate information back from device points directly into control centers for processing.

This model also boasts many other high-performance features. A programmable system status indicator provides visual and audible indication of current system operation; an on-board battery backup ensures a continuous power source; two notifier circuits supply up to 2.5 amps of 24 volt power for horns, strobes or bells; while restricted access function keys facilitate silencing alarm and trouble conditions as well as zone bypassing, detector resetting, and other fire functions.

This alarm panel was developed to meet a variety of installation requirements, from Class B installations with supervision to limited stand-alone use. Compliant with UL 864 and meeting NFPA 72 requirements for central stations, local, auxiliary fire applications. Furthermore, it meets both CSA C22.2 Nos 47.2 and 77.2 standards for alarm signaling purposes as well as report and control networks – providing both master or slave operation within each network. The D9124 can operate both as master or slave mode within these networks.

The D8024

The D8024 is a 24 VDC UL listed fire alarm control panel which employs addressable analog devices. The two expansion slots accommodate plug-in polling circuit modules which each support up to 126 analog addresses; with 252 addressable points total. Grouping devices together and labelling them as one location or zone helps simplify system operation.

This panel can be combined with various Bosch fire alarm detectors, such as smoke, heat and flame detectors to quickly create an effective fire alarm system in any building. Furthermore, up to three other radionics fire alarm panels may also be networked together through shared zone networks; or up to nine additional UL Listed radionics systems via its report and control network.

The D8024 system comes equipped with various display options, such as LED displays and alphanumeric LCDs, that display its status of operation as well as providing detailed fire alarm or trouble information, user-settable alarm levels and system status information. It meets the requirements for installation types including schools, universities, manufacturing plants, health care facilities and high rise buildings.

An Error ZN 9 Report indicates a problem with the D2071A’s dialing speed or first dial attempt, often signaled by improper connection of its D5203 Programmer Cord or too great call loads on it. Although such issues won’t significantly hinder performance, they should still be addressed immediately for optimal operation of this phone system.

The D8024/D10024A includes touch-keys that allow users to temporarily disable certain outputs of devices at will, which is especially helpful for protecting fire detectors or devices requiring trained personnel’s special attention from accidental activations. Before using this feature, devices must first be assigned to groups via Change Device options; alternatively there’s also a built-in telephone interface which enables monitoring reports over an active telephone line.

The D7024

The D7024 is a conventional fire alarm panel equipped with digital communication capabilities. Suitable for schools, universities, manufacturing plants and healthcare facilities alike, the D7024 controls complex alarm systems found within these environments such as schools, universities manufacturing plants and health care facilities. This unit can function independently or be combined with any Bosch or Radionics panel to form an RS-485 bus network; two Notification Appliance Circuits (NACs) powered up with up to 2.5 amps of 24 VDC power can power horns bells other notification devices onboard; furthermore it comes equipped with function keys for silencing alarm and trouble conditions, addressing points and controlling other aspects.

The fire alarm communicator transmitter utilizes two telephone lines to send data to its receiver. It features a built-in, programmable reconnection timer which resets every 30 seconds after loss of communications with a master fire alarm panel and allows users to retransmit reports missed on first attempt up to ten times before giving up and reporting elsewhere.

When used as a slave communicator, zone 1 of the D2071A can be used to monitor an alarm output on an existing UL Listed NFPA 72 FACP in a master/slave relationship. Alternatively, it can also be connected directly to an NFPA 72 FACP via its volt-free fire alarm line which connects directly to an approved receptacle for stand-alone operation.

Under normal operation, the D2071A sniffs each telephone line every 10 seconds. However, should any issue arise that requires closer examination, its test rate increases dramatically to include every line every second. Trouble conditions are detected if after 10 attempts or test timer expiration there has been no report sent back by either method.

The D2071A can be programmed using either its programming key or interface and reading through its D5200 Product Handler Program Operation Manual. When programming the device, ensure it is connected to both phone lines and power sources as well as in an area which provides sufficient cooling airflow for its battery.

The D10024

The D10024 FACP is an addressable fire alarm control panel (FACP) designed specifically to meet the requirements of modern fire detection systems. Utilizing cutting-edge networking techniques, this 24-volt DC fire control panel enables point identification as well as various notifications devices.

This system is UL listed and designed for Central Station, Local, Auxiliary and Remote Station fire applications. With keyed controller access and an array of notification appliances that includes horns, bells, strobes and smoke detector heads and bases. Two Notification Appliance Circuits supply up to 2.5 amps of 24 volt power for these appliances.

With two telephone lines, the D2071A can connect directly to your FACP and send alarms and trouble reports for your system. It can also serve as a slave communicator application on existing FACPs by monitoring alarm or trouble outputs on those existing FACPs – in which configuration Zone 1 serves as the alarm initiating circuit while Zones 2 and 3 become secondary reporting circuits.

The D2071A can be easily integrated with either a Bosch F4100A Fire Alarm Control Panel, or used as a stand-in communicator enclosure. Installation is straightforward: connect power to its terminals on the bottom, have a qualified electrician connect black and white leads from D2071A directly into an FACP or slave communicator, secure D2071A using adhesive strips provided, then familiarize yourself with D5200 Programmer Operation Manual before programming any Bosch products.
