His most recent experiment involved injecting donor fat into his face in order to diminish wrinkles, however this caused a severe allergic reaction and had to be aborted immediately.

A Netflix documentary called “Don’t Die” chronicles his efforts at turning back time.

The film follows Bryan as he embarks on his quest to reduce his biological age – how old his body feels versus chronological age. To assist with this goal, he employs full-time staff as well as high-tech gadgets; taking over 50 pills daily on an extremely strict regiment. Furthermore, he employs personal training services and has a 17-year-old son he refers to as his “blood boy”.

He’s managed to lower his metabolic rate by 30 percent and this has enabled him to stay lean while delaying premature aging. Additionally, he’s received various skin treatments which have reduced wrinkles and fine lines, leaving his skin with a youthful radiance he credits as being thanks to him reverting back to its birth name – something his former name would not do!

But this millionaire has encountered some roadblocks on his quest for immortality. Unfortunately, one experiment ended in bad reactions from taking immunosuppressant medication rapamycin to slow his own aging process – leading him down the wrong path towards immortality and hastening facial aging as a result of it. Unfortunately, in an effort to achieve immortality by keeping himself youthful forever he accidentally hastening facial aging rather than slowing it.

Johnson has long been on a quest to look younger, which makes his YouTube video all the more startling. It depicts him with his face looking reddened after what he calls “Project Baby Face,” in which donor fat injections were administered into his face in order to restore facial symmetry after weight loss had left him looking gaunt.

In the film, he describes his quest as one for “non-toxic rewinding.” But some experts have voiced concerns with his methods. For example, Shoshana Ungerleider of San Francisco Internal Medicine points out that while lifestyle factors play a significant part in longevity, genetics is also crucial in terms of life expectancy.

He has a team of 30 scientists monitoring his progress

Bryan Johnson employs over 30 scientists in his pursuit of immortality. They use various technologies, such as MRIs, ultrasounds, colonoscopies, blood work and genetic testing, along with monitoring his diet, exercise regimen and sleep patterns to see if they can delay or reverse any processes that might hasten ageing.

Johnson recently underwent gene therapy to increase his follistatin levels – a protein responsible for muscle development and tissue repair; Johnson hopes this procedure can extend his maximum lifespan by several years.

He uses costly and time-consuming treatments, but they appear to work. His cumulative age-related damage has decreased to less than 99% of that seen in someone 20 years his junior, and his skin appears younger than its chronological age. Some have applauded his efforts while others criticise them as self-indulgence.

He has a 17-year-old son who is helping him

Bryan Johnson is one of the best-known anti-aging influencers online, and maintains a website to track his progress. His Blueprint Protocol utilizes a team of health professionals who monitor multiple biological markers daily as part of his regimen, making his methods expensive and time consuming but promising results such as making him appear younger at 28 than expected.

His most recent venture involves gene therapy to increase his levels of follistatin – the hormone responsible for muscle repair – by 12 years, potentially increasing muscle growth and repair and thus prolonging his maximum lifespan.

His methods have drawn much criticism for their narcissism; nonetheless, he insists they work. His website tracks numerous biological indicators like MRIs, colonoscopies, blood work and genetic screening as well as showing an accumulative chart illustrating all of the damage done over the year.
