Quantum Entanglement
Entanglement occurs when two particles become physically linked together. Their states influence each other regardless of distance separating them, giving rise to quantum entanglement.
Understanding this complex topic may be difficult, so one useful analogy is two matched coins flipped simultaneously – just like photons or particles, when measured they come up either heads or tails when measured at once. When measuring one coin you know exactly what will come out on its flip! When in reality these particles exist as superposition of heads and tails before becoming definitive in either state (heads or tails).
Einstein had little patience for this phenomenon and called it “spooky action at a distance.” According to Einstein, this seemed to violate two basic laws of classical physics – locality (that objects can only be affected by things nearby) and the principle of realism (that objects have well-defined properties that do not change). But eventually physicists conducted experiments testing entanglement theory, and ultimately proved it didn’t break either one of these laws.
Researchers create entangled photons or other particles by combining them in a very specific way, then sending the resultant entangled particles off to different locations. They can measure one particle’s state at any given moment and it will always agree with that of its twin replica even when separated by thousands of miles. The particles’ connections ensure they remain instant twin replicas even though separated by physical distance.
However, this solution suffers from being insensitive enough that once particles leave their entangled state they’re destroyed immediately – even an accidental photon in the wrong spot will demolish any possible entanglement created – thus rendering entangled particles incapable of sending information faster than light speeds.
Waveform Mirroring
Waveform mirroring is used to replicate signals at a specific frequency. For instance, if a waveform contains an 11th harmonic (the one between its first and second harmonics), an exact replica can also be created at that frequency – this allows you to transmit a much higher frequency without using up all your generator’s resources and creating complex waveforms without fully exhausting its power output.
To create a mirroring waveform, enter the first harmonic of an original waveform into the Waveform Display window and use the “mirror” function from the Control Panel. Adjust distortion levels as necessary and use this mirroring waveform to transmit another signal at the same frequency – perfect for sending multiple frequencies simultaneously or adding extra harmonics for increasing output power by creating additional harmonics.
There are various methods you can use to configure your Spooky2 remote LEDs. By default, they use positive and negative polarities, meaning as frequency ramps up, left LED will progressively brighten as right dims; once signal amplitude reaches maximum it will begin reducing and both LEDs will eventually shut off.
The Spooky2 is also equipped with both carrier sweeps and spectrum sweeps for greater control. Carrier sweeps distribute power across a large frequency spectrum while modulation sweeps hit specific frequencies over a set amount of time. Both these types of sweeps offer various settings to tailor frequency transposition or harmonic wobble systems accordingly.
If you’re having difficulty choosing between two sweep types, experiment with both and see what works best. Once you find one you like and configured its settings, be sure to give it an easily searchable name so it can be quickly located again later. You might even want to consider saving a Preset Collection which includes frequency sets, waveform(s), and all settings together.
