Connect a 6.5 VAC, 40 VA transformer as the primary power supply and connect a 12V 7Ah rechargeable lead acid battery to its positive (+) terminal for secondary power delivery, producing up to 2 A at 10.0 VDC to 13.9 VDC as alarm output signal.
Take note of the D136 plug-in relay for output at terminal 7. A circuit breaker protects it against shorts on common input and output connections, safeguarding against any short circuiting that might occur between these elements.
An event triggered by activating any point within a system logs it and sends it directly to the command center. If it is a supervised sensor loop, system centers receive a PARAM FAIL report when activated; otherwise if non-supervised panel debounces counter for 10 seconds when first powered up with default Debounce Count of 2.
The D8125 POPEX module allows you to print events directly from a panel log on a parallel printer locally, making your job simpler. UL certified for use within enclosures containing D7212 modules, referring to system charts and manuals can help determine which modules will best meet your application.
